Louis welcomes you to the farm of his childhood, an authentic 18th century Burgundian farmhouse, restored according to the rules of the art. On the edge of meadows (with Charolais sheep as peaceful neighbors!), In the heart of a charming, typical and quiet little hamlet nestled on a hilly bocage plateau at the foot of the famous Butte de Suin, culminating at an altitude of 600m on the watershed between the Atlantic Ocean & the Mediterranean. Nestled on the site of an ancient Gallic city & a major Roman road, on a natural site protected for its remarkable plant and animal ecosystem (especially aquatic), this iconic panoramic sentinel of Saône-et-Loire offers a 360-degree view ° literally exceptional, up to Mont-Blanc on a clear day (a local saying says that there are 52 bell towers!). You will enjoy a delightful enclosed garden of 500m², neat & very flowery, with a double terrace (one partly sheltered, where the old bread oven used to be) and a ping-pong table ( in old barn). Superb unobstructed view of the Charollais. Magnificent panorama & landscapes. Spacious cottage of great comfort. Wat later op de middag aangekomen zijn we hartelijk ontvangen door de gastheer, Louis. De volgende avond hadden we een gezamenlijk aperitief aangeboden gekregen door beide gastheren (ook Vincent kwam ondanks zijn, op dat moment beperkte mobiliteit, ons begroeten en vergezellen). Dit was onwijs attend en zeer gezellig. Het huis was netjes en volledig voorzien van alle benodigdheden. De gehele dag heb je zon in de tuin, die compleet omheind is. Het huis ligt aan een relatief rustige 70km/u weg (op af en toe een auto of tractor die voorbij komt na). De omgeving is fijn gelegen om wijnboeren en steden te bezoeken. Ook een grote supermarkt is dichtbij. De gastheren denken graag met je mee als ergens naar op zoek bent. De betrokken-, gezellig- en vriendelijkheid van Louis en Vincent zullen ons altijd bij blijven. Naast uiteraard het huwelijksaanzoek op hét uitkijkpunt van Suin. Met heel veel plezier kijken we terug op dit heerlijke verblijf en vakantie, echt een aanrader!
