Two Bedroom Ocean View Deluxe Luana Kai Resort D303

D303 is a two bedroom, two bath with AC.  There is  a full ocean view of Molokini, Kahoolawe, Lanai, Maalaea Bay and the West Maui Mountains.  You can see wonderful sunsets, whales during high season and kite surfers on a windy day.  All can be enjoyed from the lanai and inside the condo.  The lanai has a dining table and chairs for relaxing while enjoying dining or the spectacular view.

The living room area has high beam ceilings along with a ceiling fan and a/c.  There is a tv and sofa bed in the living room.  The kitchen is remodeled and has granite countertops, stainless steel appliances and all of the cooking essentials you need.  

The master bedroom is in the upstairs loft area which looks down into the living room.  There is a spacious King size bed and a full bathroom with a shower (no tub).  There is a ceiling fan and air conditioning for your enjoyment.

The guest bedroom downstairs offers two twin beds, a ceiling fan and air conditioning. The guest bathroom features a tile vanity and a shower.

Awesome Time

We had a great stay and location was right next to the beach. It was a few minutes to Kihei and centrally located for other activities. Kitchen had everything we needed. Definitely recommend it.

Nice Setup for Family of Four

12 day stay from Christmas until Jan 6 / Nice views/ nice pool This unit is dated & the seating is uncomfortable. The beds were comfortable. A coat of white paint would really liven the place up.

Great location on Beautiful Island

The location was perfect with beaches & great food stops very close, but also kind of in the middle of everything on the island. Was easy to get everywhere. Only issue we had is that the listing said there was AC but apparently that was an extra charge per day. Wasn’t too much of an issue except the first night. Now of the fans were on including the big fan they recommend to Col the apt plus the drapes for the big window were open (to show off a great view) but at 5pm that sun had warmed the co to very hot. Took all night to cool it down and there wasn’t great directions on the big fan that helps. All around was good though. Would recommend.

Amazing spot!!!!

The property was stunning! We were on a girls holiday and enjoyed being so close to the beach, the pool and hot tub were an added bonus. Our condo was the perfect size for four adults, comfortable and so clean. We travelled all around the island, Luana Kai was in a perfect location. I hope we can visit again.

First time to Maui

We absolutely loved our view of the ocean from this condo. We had our coffee and breakfast each morning on the linai, stunning views. Closet with the washer/dryer has some beach chairs and umbrellas to use, very helpful. Overall, great location, clean condo, and amazing views. Side note, a/c costs extra and you’ll most likely need it being on the 3rd floor. Our kids are grown, but if you have small kids and want to walk out the door to the beach, not the best kids beach, pretty rocky. But not a long drive to get to good beaches. The view won’t disappoint!

Luana Kai

This was our second stay at Luana Kai. We love the location, the pool and grill, proximity to the water, and the units are great. Would definitely recommend for a family looking for a place to stay. I do have to say this time we could have done without the Pickleball courts between the balcony and the ocean. I’ve read other comments say they didn’t mind them and some actually enjoyed them, but my wife and I found the noise from the courts from 8am to sundown to be the only minus of our trip. Other than that, this condo has everything one would need. Mahalo.

Nice stay

We had a nice stay in this apartment. We had trouble at check-in and couldn't get in contact with the owner so we waited about an hour to get into the place, but the host was nice enough to refund us a little for the trouble. Location was nice and everything was clean! We just wish there was more lighting inside the apartment.

Wonderful stay at Luana Kai

We are a family of five (three teen boys) and truly enjoyed our stay. It was a bit cozy but we expected that with our crew. The high ceilings, loft and huge view windows/doors made it feel much more roomy. The deck is a nice size with a beautiful view. Everything was clean. It is a little dated but not too bad. The couch seems new. Well equipped kitchen. Lots of hooks to hang towels. There are pickleball courts between the condo and beach with players from 8am to dark. We actually didn’t mind it but some people might. We loved the third floor and exercise from the stairs - no elevator. We loved the beach town vibe of Kihei. Would stay here again! Thank you!

Amazing!

This was a great condo in Kehei! We enjoyed the grassy lawn in front, access to the beach area, loved seeing the pickleball court, enjoyed shuffleboard and the pool and hot tub. Overall a really comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Great for our five day stay

This unit worked well for our adventure of taking our 12 year old granddaughter to Maui for her first trip to Hawaii. Positives: the pool was lovely, the views very pleasant, the location had easy access to Kihei beaches and shopping, the specific unit had everything we needed. Negatives: no elevator, the beach was rocky for swimming (both of which we knew before we booked)

Great place to stay

The staff on site was super nice and helpful, the unit was well appointed, the pool was great. Everything was more than adequate for our family of 4. The beach isn't a great swimming beach, but it's a short drive to the beaches in Kihei and we saw turtles right off the beach every evening. Overall, a great place to stay and will definitely be back.

Beautiful ocean view

The condo was clean and well appointed with a beautiful view from the balcony. Good location close to many restaurants and shopping and beaches. It is a challenge to carry luggage and groceries up 3 flights of stairs. There is no a/c and it did get quite warm inside by late afternoon. Would recommend to couples and children but maybe not to someone with difficulty climbing stairs.

Paradise

The view was everything they said and more. We did not need the air conditioning as you got a lovely flow of air right thru the condo when the huge attic fan was on. You could see the mountains out the back window and the ocean out the front windows. It was stocked with every kitchen pot or gadget you could think of and even spices. The sofa could have used a cleaning and even had some stains but we did not let that dampen our mood. It was on the third floor and no elevator but the depth of the step made it a pretty easy climb and after a couple days I was really proud how I was getting up them🙂 the pool and surrounding area were very clean and the gardens and pathways were taken care of expertly.

Exceptional view condo.

Was impressed with well equipped kitchen and loved the balcony. We wish we knew there were no elevators. Extremely hard for 70 yr olds to get luggage to the unit on the3rd floor! A/C was difficult to operate as were the ceiling fans. Maybe remotes needed new batteries?

Great stay and amazing view!

We really enjoyed our stay at Luana Kai! The condo was clean, comfortable, and well stocked. The ocean view from lanai was spectacular, and offered a perfect setting for morning coffee or sunset dinners. The property is close to a park and a quiet beach, and a short walk away from restaurants and stores. We would highly recommend this wonderful condo!

We very much enjoyed our 1 week stay in this nice condo. We can highly recommend it. It's not brand new - what you cannot expect for this price - but it is well maintained and clean with a lot of nice details. The kitchen is equipped very well. It can get quite warm inside but with the ventilation it was fine (we did not book the AC as it's quite expensive). The view over the ocean from the balcony is fantastic (walk distance 2min) and the overall location on Maui is great. The resort is also very well maintained. Central Pool and 5 gas grills were great amenities.

I am Leslie and I moved to Maui 40 years ago.  I immediately started work at Luana Kai in Kihei and am still here.  I am blessed to call Luana Kai my FAMILY.  I have had the pleasure of watching families grow up year after year and some who were babies when I started are coming back with their babies now.  Such a delight.  

I am happy to say most of my employees have been here for 10 plus years.  We are on site in the front office and can take care of you.  We are a happy bunch and look forward to welcoming you to our Luana Kai home.
