Beautiful Lake Views! Non Smoking Property! 2BR, 2 Bath Plus Loft. 4 season 1800 Sq ft home that sleeps 8. Gorgeous Menominee River/Badwater/Twin Falls Flowage (over 928 Acres), 100 Feet of frontage. (Water access requires traversing lots of steps) The property is wooded and sits up on a hill with 180 Degree views! 3 level home with main level with 1 BR (Cal king) and 1 Bath, Kitchen, Living, and Dining. 2nd level loft with 1 double and 3 twin beds. and a walk out basement with an open are with a queen beed, twin bed, and 1 bath. Lots of trees and a gorgeous relaxing lakefront views!

Includes docking access for your boat (LOTS of steps down to the water). Public boat ramp close.

Chalet with tongue and groove ceilings. Gas and electric heat. Property has new kitchen appliances and new AC. New Carpet and Luxury Vinyl Plank floors.

We have internet tv and streaming services to use your own login. No cable TV.

Twin Falls Flowage, Badwater Lake, Menominee River has over 928 Acres of boating and fishing fresh water access.

Great location close to Pine Mountain for summer golfing and winter skiing. Florence County has acres of county and state owned land, bring your ATV (Access within a few miles) or Snowmobile (Google Blue-Ox Trail) to access miles of county and state trails. Close to Iron Mountain with Walmart, Home Depot, and lots of other shopping. Several waterfalls and local museums close by.

There are front and rear outside video cameras for safety and security.

The place was exceptional with all the amenities that you need for a great vacation. It has a great view of bad water from the deck. If you’re handicapped or have a disability you will struggle getting up those stairs from the river. It’s extremely steep. The owner and property manager were kind and easy to work with and gave great instructions. The only downfall to this place is the neighbors!!! Beware, the woman to the right of the property is rude and a complete joke. She wanted us to keep the noise level down at 4:45pm (Not AM). Only does she know that there is no (Noise Ordinance for that area). Completely clueless. Other than that we had a great mini vacation.Thanks again

The Great Outdoors

We had a great time with family in this delightful cabin. It's a great location to enjoy all there is to do in the UP. I only wish we could have stayed longer.

Everything we needed for a comfortable fishing trip. Way more room than we needed (we could have accommodated all of our kids and grand-kids)!Beautiful view and quiet surroundings. Steps down to the dock were pretty steep so it didn’t work for my husband, but I got a good workout going up and down and there are benches along the way. Gave 4 out of 5 stars on cleanliness for outdoor gathering spaces only - indoor living areas all very clean.

Great stay in the Northwoods

This is a very cool cabin in a very cool location. We came on a family trip that was a mix of fishing and enjoying local activities, as well as a day trip to Lake Superior (worth it). The cabin is great. It DOES have a washer and dryer to do your laundry. No dishwasher. 2 full bathrooms, tons of beds, awesome game room in the basement.There are neighbors on either side with whom we had minimal interaction, and never felt a lack of privacy.As mentioned, there are lots of steps to the water - 92 of them if you count the 5-step ladder to get onto the dock. If you are able-bodied, it is a fun challenge. My kids and I went up and down several times each day and it was great exercise. If you have limited mobility (especially if you use a cane or a walker), you may just want to enjoy the beautiful views from the cabin and balcony. There are a slew of outdoor activities nearby. The children’s museum in Iron Mountain was also a hit. Walmart is 15 minutes away. Fishing - we brought a boat but had the best action right off the dock. Caught a mess of panfish, 3 small northern, a 19 inch largemouth that went after a musky bait. In the Spread Eagle chain we fished with a guide and contacted 7 muskies but couldn’t close the deal on any of them. Dock is in good shape, no electric plug in for charging. We pulled our boat halfway through the week to charge in the driveway.

Our stay in Florence Wisconsin

This house was perfect for what we needed it for and had everything we needed, even candles to celebrate my sil birthday. It was a long steep walk down to the water but, we found a great beach near the boat launch just a few miles away. Explored Iron Mountain just as we had planned. Worked out great for us. Thank You

Great spot

Wonderful location overlooking the river. The dock was in great shape and the boat launch was very close. This was perfect for our yearly father son fishing trip.

The Badwater Lodge was exactly as pictured - great space and rustic charm. Easily accommodated our multigenerational party of 7. Picturesque deck with overview of the water - great for spending downtime with family...and a quick drive to local attractions.

Great property for family time

This was a great place for us to stay at. It was not too far from what we had planned to do in the area. It was relaxing to sit on the deck and look out over the river. There was plenty to of games to keep the kids occupied and have family game nights. The neighbors are a little close, but overall, the house is nice and provided the escape we were looking for.

Peaceful, yet so much to do!

The house was perfect for my husband and older children. The kids were able to fish every day and relax in the water. Easy access to the UTV trails which where great fun with the recent rains, and plenty of activities in the surrounding communities. We will definitely coming back again 😊

Great Cabin

We had a great stay at the Badwater Lodge cabin. Very clean, and well equipped. All around great experience. We loved the location, and the arcade games in the downstairs bedroom. Not to brag, but I got the high score on Ms. Pacman now. The beds were probably the most comfortable beds we've ever had away from home, with high quality sheets. I also caught 2 northern pike from the dock. Location is quiet, and shaded. I hope to go back sometime.

Really nice stay!

Great property and location overall. Owner was helpful and quick to answer all questions. Cabin inside had everything you could need. Outdoor equipment did lack for activities. The fire pit was nice but the location is not very private and seems like it would be difficult to find a better place.

Great stay!

This was exactly what we were looking for. We do an annual guys weekend where we fish and golf. This spot was very close to some good courses and the fishing on the river was great! We caught crappies, bass, and northerns. The house was clean and had all the amenities we needed. Would definitely look to come here again on future trips.

Everything was wonderful

A cute cabin with nice kitchen & living room. As the parents we got the king size bed that we enjoyed. Beautiful view of the lake. Our adult family enjoyed enjoyed it too playing games on the outside patio table.

Excellent accommodations

Bryan was extremely accommodating. He went out of his way to make sure we had an enjoyable stay. The view is gorgeous. We enjoyed the board games, darts, and video games. Highly recommend!

Water, Trees, Tranquility: Everything we wanted!

We had a great stay! The property was spacious, quiet, surrounded by beautiful trees with a very nice view of the river from the deck. I will say, pack a snack and some hydration if you’re trekking down to the dock. My kids loved it but they are older and saw it as a challenge. All in all, the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed, WiFi was strong and there were plenty of extra towels, blankets and linens if needed. Because we had a longer stay, we did miss the luxuries of a washer/dryer and dishwasher but we made due. The laundromat located down the highway was very clean. We also found a beautiful sandbar within kayaking distance where we could park, swim and picnic. It was a great vacation overall. Thank you for the memories!

Peaceful getaway

A great place to get away with the family or group of friends. View of River is amazing, surrounded by trees and wildlife. A great place to relax and recharge. Plenty of room for everyone to spread out. Highly recommend staying here!

I am originally from Wisconsin and now live in Florida. This property is our home away from home. We love all of the activities that the Northwoods has to offer and have been coming to the Iron Mountain/Florence/Spread Eagle are for over 50 years!

We recently decided to purchase this vacation second home and have decided to share it with VRBO and Home Away guests. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do!
