Host was very easy to communicate with, home was clean and inviting with a great view. Very comfortable and relaxing! We loved the screened porch and well equipped kitchen.The short walk to the lake is a little steep, this wasn’t an issue for us, but it might be slightly challenging for toddlers or elderly. However, we were informed there are plans for additional stair in the near future. We would definitely recommend this property to friends and family!

this was an excellent place to stay for my son and I on a 4 day fall fishing trip. very clean with all the comforts of home. Easy access to everything.

We arrived to a nice driveway right up to the front door of our place we called our cabin for 3 days! Easy access through keypad front door to fully equipped kitchen with utensils as needed. Toaster, microwave and coffee maker included. Didn’t use the dishwasher but is available.Two nice size bedrooms with queen size beds and tv’s. Nice bathroom with showers and plenty of towels.Nice dining area sitting next to a back screened in porch overlooking the dock and lake! One other living area with recliner chair and couch and large TV!Under the porch we found a gas and charcoal grill! Also there was plenty of wood for the large fire pit! Great views from the porch swing! Easy walking access to the dock. (Just note, might be a bit steep for a wheel chair)All in all, we had a fantastic stay and would definitely return given the opportunity!

Spread Eagle cottage

My husband and I spent four days at this property. We found everything clean and well appointed for our stay. Our favorite place was the screened porch, we loved the view and enjoyed our coffee out there every morning.

Perfect getaway

The perfect spot for a weekend away. We had perfect weather to enjoy the water and screened in porch. Spent very little time inside. But the air conditioning was truly appreciated with the heat and humidity. Will be back!

Best Place to Stay

Lovely cottage. Right on the water. The beds were so comfortable and the house is on a dead end street so it’s very quiet with no traffic. The house has everything you need from a grill, to an outdoor fireplace with seating, fishing poles for the kids to fish off the dock. There is a big screened in second floor patio that has a gorgeous view of the lake. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to everyone.

One word...Exceptional!

Clean, beautiful, cozy, and everything you need for a relaxing stay near the water. Large dock is a short distance down the hill and water is clear. The screened in porch was our favorite spot and features a porch swing and wicker furniture for watching the water or lightning storms. Kitchen was fully stocked, even had a pizza cutter! We loved staying at this little gem! Owners were great and very responsive. Hope to visit again soon. Check out the local restaurant Ash's. Less than a mile away and great food. We did take out to enjoy the cottage more!

Perfect for relaxing

This place is set up perfectly for relaxing. The screened in porch overlooking the lake was beautiful. The dock and sandy sore line was great for fishing and swimming. Inside, the home was warm and cozy. It had everything you could use in the kitchen. Super clean and well taken care of. The only downside is getting from the house to the back yard required walking back out main entrance, around the side of the house and down an uneven yard. It did not stop us from using the backyard, but you can see it is a work in progress. I would absolutely recommend this place to those that want to relax and enjoy the outdoors!

Lovely! Clean, convenient, stocked, and comfortable!Most importantly, it was a beautiful cottage for spending time with our family that live in the area.Everyone agrees that the screen porch is a 10 out of 10! So much to offer! Wonderful sandy beach for great swimming. We had fun fishing, floating, and using our paddle boards. My son and his girlfriend enjoyed white water rafting at Pier’s Gorge. Highly recommend! Would definitely love to rent again. Thank you!

Awesome family trip!

Cabin was very cozy and comfortable. Lake was gorgeous and so fun. We had young kids and the beach is perfect for kids to wade in the water as well as fish off the dock. There is a huge bass under the dock so bring your bass fishing gear!

Lovely Northern Wisconsin Destination

We were happy to have discovered this property located on our favorite fishing location. We’ve fished here for about 40 years and this was the second time we were able to stay on the lakes. Hello! I’m Curtis and I’ve loved being a host for the last few years. I work full time as an estate manager near Fort Wayne, IN managing lakefront homes for my company. I find joy in being able to host others at my family cottage and helping groups head back home relaxed and recharged. My long term goal is to continue to make more improvements to the cottage so it may better provide the perfect experience for each of its guests.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

The cottage is special because it has been in my family since the early 50’s. As a child, I spent full summers living at the cottage with my immediate family. Throughout the summers, my aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins traveled from clear across the country back here to our roots. There was nothing better than spending time catching up while watching the Fourth of July Fireworks from the boat.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

The biggest and best parts of the cottage are simply the huge double dock, the spacious screened porch and the beauty the area around the cottage has to offer. When I think of the cottage I think of spending time outside in the sun fishing on the dock, picking blueberries in the spread eagle barrens or finding a nearby waterfall to hike to! No matter the time of the year, there is always beauty to be seen from the property and the nearby areas. Don’t forget to enjoy early morning coffee as the sunrise peaks over the house, or an evening fire as the sun sets perfectly across the lake.
