BEACHFRONT AT CALYPSO! WALK TO PIER PARK!

This beautiful fully equipped condo is located on the 20th floor of the East tower at Calypso Resort and Towers. The location is amazing, just across the street from Pier Park. 2006 E Calypso  is a two bedroom two bathroom unit with a separate bunk area.The master bedroom features a king size bed and has gorgeous gulf views. Wake up and enjoy your morning coffee on the balcony. The unit has tile flooring throughout the condo. The living room has the same amazing gulf views and has full sized sleeper sofa. The second bedroom has a queen size bed for your guests. Bringing children? They will enjoy their own separate bunk area, with a set of twin bunk beds. The fully equipped kitchen will is highlighted with granite counter tops. This condo will sleep up to 8 guests. While vacationing don't over pack, make use of the in unit washer & dryer. Plan on working while enjoying the world's most beautiful beaches, WiFi is of course provided. This is the flagship floor plan of condos at Calypso and is sure to please. Plenty of room to stretch out after a fun filled day on the beach. Well decorated, tastefully painted, close to shopping and activities, this condo will be one you visit year after year.

Please note you will be required to pay $60 per vehicle to register your car, one bedroom units are allowed one car and 2/3 bedrooms are allowed 2.

Singles under the age of twenty-five (25) are prohibited from booking unless accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. For all family groups, married couples and responsible adults over the age of 25, proof of age is required. There may be additional restrictions regarding the number of people that may accompany a parent or legal guardian. Age and identity will be verified prior to check-in.

Check-in was a very smooth, easy process. However the condo looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in weeks. The beds were probably the worst my family and I have ever slept in. The bunk beds I was nervous for my little girls to even sleep on as they were very wobbly and loud. There was one guy working in the hut for chairs and kept begging us to give him money. Otherwise we had a great time on vacation and The location of the condo and the view was great!

Disappointing Stay – Poorly Maintained Unit & Beach Hassles

I don’t usually write reviews, & I don’t have unrealistic expectations—especially when it comes to rental properties.But I do rely heavily on reviews when booking, so I felt compelled to share my experience for future guests.Unfortunately, this condo was not well-maintained.All of the mattresses & pillows were uncomfortable & clearly in need of replacing.The bunk beds squeaked & shifted with every movement, & the queen headboard wasn’t even attached-so it banged against the wall every time someone turned over or moved in the least.The furniture throughout the unit was in poor condition-worn out, stained, & generally in need of replacement.Cleanliness was another issue.The walls and baseboards were noticeably dirty, the floors didn’t feel clean, & the showers drained very slowly.I understand this is a rental, and I don’t expect perfection, but this went far beyond normal wear & tear.We also had problems with the parking pass, which never worked properly.We had to call each time we entered or exited the property.Lastly, the beach setup was frustrating.Guests were getting up before sunrise to set up tents along the front row at the water’s edge,leaving no room for others to place chairs or access the shoreline without having to go under others tents.Most of these tents sat unoccupied until midday.This impacted our beach experience.Many resorts have banned tents or at least require them to be set up behind the front row.Calypso should strongly consider this. We wont be back.

Pool problems

Condo was nice. Pool closed alot! They said they close if lightening is within 10 miles, but sometimes it was closed with completely clear skies and all the surrounding pools open.

Amazing Stay

We had a wonderful week long stay! The property is great and in the perfect location to walk to shops and restaurants. It was a nice surprise to get 2 beach chairs and umbrella included with our rental. Would definitely stay here again.

Labor Day Trip

The condo was nice! Cute, clean, easy access right off elevator. Check in was a breeze. Great location to shops and restaurants. Just needs new outdoor furniture it was pretty bad and beds and pillows were not very comfortable.

Great place

Condo was very clean and the view could not get any better!! There was a little broken glass on the balcony that was missed but other than that perfectly clean! Everything in the condo was exceptional exept the headboard in the guest bedroom isnt attached and every slight movement it hits the wall.. other than that one of the best condos I've stayed at in Panama.

Nice location but....

The location is great! But...... the deck chairs are nasty and people have complained but still not replaced as is the deck floor...no shoes will give you black feet. No comforters in any bedrooms we used the dollar store blankets they left. The blender didn't work and the 2nd bathroom had mold on the shower curtain and a clogged drain. There are NO SUPPLIES! NO BEACH CHAIRS, NO BEACH TOWELS, NO BEACH TOYS! This would have been nice in the description. Also plan on a grocery trip theydont supply sponges to clean dishes, laundry detergent or any other basic necessities. The place in general is decorated well and walking distance to pier park.

Nice Condo

The condo is nicely decorated and as advertised. The bathrooms and laundry area are slightly dated compared to the other areas. The balcony desperately needs new furniture, it is falling apart. The beach is very busy in this area but if you walk down closer to the pier there are less people. Pier Park is across the street and provides plenty for everyone to do. The check-in and check-out process were seamless. We would stay here again.

Lovely area

This unit has a lovely view, but it needs some attention on the inside. The balcony chairs have seen better days. The baseboards in the laundry room need to be painted. The shower in the 2nd bathroom has standing water when you are using it. It could definitely use a facelift. Overall the unit was clean, but I was expecting it to be a little nicer.

Condo was everything and more. Location was fantastic and right by elevator. Balcony furniture needs upgrading. Overall great stay. Will be back. Calypso resort is top of the line.

Perfect beach getaway

We enjoyed every minute of our stay despite everyday changing weather (deep fog, cool temps, rain, and perfect sun). The condo was tastefully decorated and clean. Plenty of space for families of 8. Comfortable mattresses and pillows. Fully equipped kitchen with nice size dining table. We were pleasantly surprised to be able to check in earlier. The complex staff was very friendly and helpful. The beach was the cleanest beach we ever seen! We loved playing with kids on flour like sand without seaweed or other gifts from the water. There were two pools, and one was heated. Location is perfect for families with kids, teens and young adults. Definitely worth to come visit again.

Great Condo Great Location

My family and I enjoyed our stay at Calypso 2006 East. It was just as described in the listing. We had a problem with our door handle not working, I contacted the owner, and the problem was promptly fixed. When we arrived there was still sand on the floor and something sticky on the counter and had run down the cabinets, but that was an easy fix and didn’t take away from the property or experience. We would definitely recommend this rental and would definitely stay there again.

Good Condo That Could Be a Great Condo with a Bit More Attention to Detail!

This is a comfortable condo in a great location, especially for this year's Ironman Florida race. The unit appears to have been recently painted and family room furniture has been updated and is lovely. Management was easy to work with and responsive to needs. So much potential here for a great condo, but lots of little things need attention. The safety latch on the main door was completely broken, which meant the door didn't shut all the way, creating a very loud, howling sound in the high winds we had the weekend of our stay and creating questionable security of the entrance. The dishwasher was falling out from the cabinet it was housed in, the ice maker and water dispenser were not functioning, none of the electrical outlets in master bathroom worked, no coat hangers or laundry detergent or extra toilet paper at all. The closets in the bedrooms and the space underneath the beds were used for storing a lot of unused window blinds and large bags of what appeared to be large old comforters and dirty linens. Unit needed a thorough cleaning, especially the floors and the bathroom sinks and drawers. Again, our stay was very enjoyable, and I think with some added attention, this could be a fantastic unit.

Best location

Beautiful view! Never received check in info email so no parking pass till the next day when they finally returned call and text. Needed a thorough cleaning and a few rugs esp by the beds, sandy beds do not make a great night sleep. The furniture had been updated, walls painted! Location was so convenient we never moved the car once we got it in the parking deck.
