Our Story: A Legacy of Love for Tucson & Cherished Memories
As proud University of Arizona graduates, we, like countless Wildcats, found the "Old Pueblo" calling us back. Two decades after graduation, that enduring pull—shared by our mother who also recognized the unique beauty of this resort area—led us to discover and lovingly prepare this exquisite Starr Pass villa. It's our dream fulfilled, and we're thrilled to share this special slice of Tucson with guests from across the globe.

Within these walls, you'll find art that holds deep personal meaning for us, making your stay truly unique. Glimpse our daughter's photography from her youth, beautifully displayed in the kitchen. Near the glass door, admire a piece by a dear and loyal friend. You'll also discover a special drawing of an owl, created by a young teenage visitor, carrying a timeless wish and blessing for all future guests. These owls, lovingly given by our guests over the years, are a testament to the cherished connections made here.

Adding an extra layer to your Tucson experience, one of us even had the unique privilege of working at the legendary Old Tucson Movie Location, planning daily gift-giving for stars like Elizabeth Taylor, George Hamilton, and Tom Skerritt during filming. This iconic Western attraction, famous for its movie history and a current fun park, is just one of the many gems awaiting you near our villa.

Resort nearest the U of A, downtown and the airport and I-10. Within eye site of famous JW Marriott Hotel and Spa, Road Runner Golf Course, Starr Pass. Open park wildlife reserve, Rich in beauty and scenic desert terrain. Open air mountain bike park, all in our back yard. We visited and stayed at all the developments and resorts in the Old Pueblo and came back to Starr Pass. There is something special about this desert oasis. This is a place to return to again and again.

View is Best --Location, location, location.
There are other places to stay in Starr Pass, however, none have this view, this location, an end unit on the master bedroom side = privacy and peacefulness, free parking in front of the unit, great elevation, and view

You will have access to a private patio with table and chairs. Washer and dryer with laundry detergent and fabric softener along with iron is available.
Notes to Our Guests:
1. This Suite is NOT suitable for parties and outside guests other than those included on booking.
2. Smoking and Vaping are not permitted.
3. Tucson is a favorite with hikers and cyclists but non-residents must remember that our hot and dry climate can change to monsoons in the summer and snow in the mountains in the winter! Rain and snowmelt create conditions! Hikers and cyclists need to carry plenty of water, sunscreen, and wear hats and good shoes/ boots at all times.
4. Shuttle -- guest pick up at Catalina BBQ near the Golf Pro Shop will drop guests to the JW Marriott Resort and Spa entrance -- spend the evening fireside or dining. Shuttle runs through the evening and will drop you back to your casita. Enjoy live music most weekend evenings, grand fire pits and fire towers, meal and beverage service at your couch/table, restaurants and Starbucks on site. Early morning guided hiking. Grab your coffee and join guests for the 7 am Grateful fireside service. Fireworks on holidays or special occasions are common. All amenities including the pool, tennis courts are out of the hands of the private owner host of your casita. Book these though ResortPass.com.
