Our Stay

Enjoyed the property and area. Plenty of food options available. Fishing was a little slow but caught some panfish. Cabin could have been cleaner along with dishes which needed to be rewashed upon arrival.

great location / nice place

We spent a few days here in September. It is a beautiful location, and it's nice to have a pier on the lake where we could park our boat. Of the places we have stayed in Minocqua, this one was the closest to a boat ramp than any others, quick to put the boat in and take it back out. Nice supper club we could walk to, close to Minocqua and all it's restaurants and stores. It's also close to the Bearskin trail for biking. Place was well kept and clean. We enjoyed out stay here and would return.

Great week of Waterskiing

The cabin is clean and comfortable. Fully equipped kitchen, large dining room, comfortable beds. It was perfect! We loved being right on the water. The dock was newer and perfect set up for our boat. We waterskied right from the dock! The shed had a couple weber grills, cornhole boards and lawn chairs. There was a young bald eagle that perched in the tree on the property often. Lots of ducks, geese, mink, bunnies, chipmunks. Great place to stay!! You can walk to Slo's Pub for a great meal too!

Great Northwoods Cabin

We stay a couple of nights on an All Girl's Wisconsin trip. The location was perfect because we visited both Eagle River and Minocqua. The only problem I could see would be when the neighbors are also at their place you would be right on top of them, especially while at the fire-pits. But, no one was next door the 2 nights we were there. And, we were very lucky to have seen the Northern Lights which were amazing!!!

My friend & I stayed for 3 nights in September. Lovely, homey & very clean property on a lake that holds many memories for me since 1951! Beautiful views of the lake from all the windows in living room, kitchen. Well equipped with everything you might need except bath towels. Front door lock was problematic, however Management cheerfully arrived in a flash to assist! Was late in the season, no one staying in neighboring homes & in spite of rain & cool weather we visited our favorite restaurants, shops & sights. The bench on the pier is wonderful for peaceful moments gazing out on Big Arbor Vitae Lake!

Great cabin and Northwoods decore throughout. All the amenities you would want. Unfortunately washing machine didn't work and wasn't fixed until day before trip was over, but sh*t happens. Was hot our stay central air throughout. There were 4 of us so 2 showers was essential. And nobody was without hot water. They directed us to a boat rental. Had to drive boat on water from dock to cabin , which initially was apprehensive, but with today's GPS piece of cake. The cabin's dock is steps away. And the lake view from family room and dining room was priceless. We caught several good size fish. Was our 1st time on the lake. They provided ample amount of towels and toiletries. Beds were comfortable. Plenty of pillows and blankets were provided. There's 2 restaurants that are close by boat or short drive. One night we were out to dinner late. Without gps we never would've found our way back, I passed it couple times as is, in other words it's pitch black. I'd like more detailed explanation on all the vrbo added fees but what you going to do. I'd recommend this cabin and lake.

Great house!!

Absolutely great house! I have stayed at a lot of different VRBO properties, and this was by far the cleanest! Kitchen was fully stocked with utensils. A great bar (good pizza) is about 1/4 mile away and a great supper club (great ribs) is also about 1/4 mile away. Very quiet lake with not much traffic. You do have to bring your own towels. The only issue we had was that the master shower did not drain well, other than that it was a great house. We will definitely book this property again.

Very nice well stocked house very comfortable place to stay right on the lake nice pier for your boat boat landing right down the road we had a great time

Great place to vacation!

The property was beautiful, the house had everything we needed and was clean. The lake was clean and great for swimming. Perfect home away from home.

Wonderful location

Great for a family vacation with children or teens... recommend having access to a boat. Lake good for swimming also. Bring extra towels, as well as hand and dish towels. Home very clean with everything you need
