The location was amazing. We sat outside and looked up at the stars for hours at the end of the day myself, and my daughter walked around the neighborhood and felt very safe. We were close to all restaurants and activities. Would definitely stay here again.

Family getaway

Overall it was a wonderful experience at the location. We were surprised it did not have air conditioning because the first day we arrived, it was hot and humid. Luckily the owner had fans available for us to use. The weather cooled down and everything else was great!

Easy to Find

We found our stay at Wisconsin Hideaway to be exactly what we needed. The house is clean with a mostly secluded backyard. We had one hiccup at check-in mostly due to my error. Both the owner and host were kind and prompt in response to questions or concerns. If you don't need/want to be on a lake, this is a great location!

Cozy, but roomy. Convenient, but quiet.

We were very comfortable in this spacious, but cozy property. With deer curled up in the snow out the back sliders, an ample kitchen workspace, large bedrooms, and a roomy sectional couch, we felt quite at home.

Snowmobile getaway

Property was very easy to find just off the main highway. The driveway was big enough to park a trailer and snowmobiles.The home was very clean and nice. Would definitely rent again for future trip.

Returning guests!

This was our 2nd time staying at this house, and we loved it, again! We stayed once in the winter and once in the summer and it was wonderful both times. Well stocked and very clean. Great indoor and outdoor space.

Just a couple of old friends and their wives meet up at a location a couple of hundred miles from home. We had a great home to stay in and lots of north country hospitality and great food. Fire pit was also a great way to end the day.

Great snowmobile destination

Overall great place and location for snowmobiling we are repeat customers. Trail is right across the road. Could use an updated table and chairs.

Check-in was easy and the house was nice and in a convient location. The grill wasn't working but the owner sent out someone to get it fixed. The house does not have A/C but that wasn't a problem for us as the temperature was fine for our time.The house is pet friendly and smelled like dog when we arrived. We bought some air freshener plugins and removed some rugs from the bathroom that really smelled to help air it out. We noticed a decent amount of fur under the bed that was missed in cleaning and the fans could use a good dusting.

Great place to stay, clean and spacious, plenty of storage space for all your gear! Close to trail.

Driveway could have been cleaned up. Bottom had bank of snow when we arrived from snowplows going by. Overall no major complaints.

Family Snowmobile Trip

Came up to snowmobile with our kids. Great communication, loved the house. Enough room for the family to hang out. Snowmobile trail was a short drive down the road to the trail. There was room for us to pull our truck and 4 place enclosed trailer into the driveway.

Cold, very cold

Cabin was clean, check in was easy. Cabin temp was in the 50's when we arrived. We turned up the thermostat, and hoped the in floor heat would come up overnight. It didn't. Reached out in the morning and the owner asked us to charge the thermostat up and try again. Owner said they would have someone look at it while we were out sledding that day. Someone was there, but the house was only marginally warmer when we returned, and never did get to a comfortable temperature.

Family Getaway

We planned a trip to go snowmobiling with our kids. This was a great place to stay. We were able to pull our truck and 4 place enclosed trailer in the driveway. The communication was great and we loved that the trails were out the driveway and across the road.

Very Nice Plac

This was a wonderful place to stay at for my daughter's wedding taking place that weekend. It was within 5 min to the lake where the wedding took place. I only have a couple of suggestions, the shower could really use a bath matt or something, it was very slippery when wet and I did come close to falling, as did my brother- in- law when he used it. The second is we had a couple of Nescos that we were heating up food for the wedding, these take a lot of power and we ended up tripping a circuit breaker, we couldn't find the circuit panner to turn it back on, so access to this would have been nice. Happy to say nothing major was on the circuit that tripped. Other than that we all really liked the place and plan on staying there again in the future
