Unit 103 is the perfect first-floor retreat with an east-facing patio, offering easy access to Carpinteria State Beach. Just 14 steps from the building's entrance, you'll be stepping directly onto the sand!

This cozy unit features a newly remodeled, fully stocked kitchen with marble countertops and everything you need to prepare delicious meals. Inside, there's seating for four at the dining table and additional outdoor seating on the patio, including a table, comfy couch, and chair with a coffee table.

The unit includes two spacious bedrooms, one with a king-size bed and the other with two twin beds, comfortably sleeping up to four people. If needed, feel free to bring your own twin blow-up mattress and linens for a 5th person. Both rooms are equipped with flat-screen TVs and cable so you can unwind with your favorite shows. The bathroom boasts a beautiful walk-in shower, and the living room opens to a lovely patio with grassy space—perfect for family fun and relaxation in the sun, just steps from the beach.

There's a communal washer/dryer on-site and a gated parking lot for your convenience. An outdoor shower, both full-body and foot, is available near a private gate to the beach. Plus, enjoy the BBQ and entertainment area for outdoor cooking and socializing.

We enjoyed the close proximity to the beach. Size was good for three of us. Had some trouble with the tv but host contacted a guy to fix it.

Fantastic Place!!

House was clean, furnished with everything we needed. Had beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards for use. Plenty of drawers and night stands to store items. Looks recently remodeled and the BEST part was it was only about 20 steps to the sand! Definitely will stay here again!

Location is convenient to the Spot , the park & of course the beach. Disappointed that we weren’t on sand facing ocean but did enjoy the private patio. The listing wasn’t clear about where condo is in the complex and could do with less mirrors! Overall we enjoyed our stay

Fantastic Location

The apartment was perfect sized for our family of 5. Literally steps from the beach and comes with beach chairs, umbrellas and toys. Can't recommend this place enough.

Great location

Staying on the beach was such a wonderful experience for our family. The amenities of the property met our expectations and having beach chairs and boogie boards available was great. This beach town was good to us, the locals were friendly and everything we needed was a short walk away.

Convenient location with beach access

Carp Shores is right on the beach. We love how the unit and property provide tar remover. There’s also a faucet outside to wash our sandy feet off. Makes going to the beach so easy when it’s right on our doorstep! It’s also very close to a park with a fun play structure as well as big grassy area. The property is also expertly managed by the on site manager. Laundry facility is clean and close by, just bring quarters, and everyone is friendly and respects curfew times, which we greatly appreciated since we have small children. Their downtown is also close by, so you can walk to the restaurants or get take out very conveniently. Highly recommend The Spot! Unit also comes with a myriad of cooking utensils and basic condiments. The only big issue is that since these are old units, the walls are thin. Our unit also had squeaky door hinges. These made it harder to have good nights rest, although the squeaky hinges can be easily remedied with WD-40. I also wish the mattresses were of better quality; I don’t expect the best when on vacation, but I also suggest getting better quality mattresses that don’t squeak of old spring coils every time you move. Overall this is a good place to stay if you don’t mind the thin walls and mediocre mattresses, which the convenient beach and park access, as well as proximity to downtown make up for.

Lovely Beach

Great location, Easy beach access just steps away equipped with beach chairs/ umbrellas and toys for the kiddos. Our family did not want to leave. Definitely will consider again.

Carpinteria Shores is great!

If you like Carpinteria, this is a great place to stay. On the beach and a short walk to all of the spots you'll want to visit in the best beach town in California. Easy check-in, clear instructions, very nice accommodations.

We should have been notified of very large and loud beer festival. Also pictures show this is on the beach. However it faces the street. It smells heavily of smoke.

Small but all you need

The condo was small but perfect for two people, especially with one small bathroom. We used the 2nd bedroom for our luggage. The place smelled a little musty so we used room spray and candles to help. Perfect location for access to the beach… just across the grass and up the steps, even though the pictures indicated the condo patio was on the beach. So that was a little misleading. I liked the electric hot water pot for my French press. We would go back.

Excellent choice!

If I could give this listing higher than 5 stars, I would! We were 3 adults and 2 young children. We received clear and timely instructions to ensure seamless check in/out process and stay. Staff were contacted via VRBO app, and they always replied promptly. the location is AMAZING!! we loved being steps away from carp beautiful beach, and still be able to be in downtown Santa Barbara within 15 mins. lots of small shops and restaurants are walking distance, which made it easy to get food for my younger ones. the apartment had EVERYTHING we needed, except for perishables (which was easy to get from smart & final down the street). olive oil spray, salt and pepper, even coffee filters. We are guessing they were left by previous visitors, The apartment is smartly designed, that there was plenty of space for everything we packed. cleanliness was acceptable, but we felt comfortable using everything around the apartment. loved that there were beach toys, beach chairs and an umbrella, less things for us to pack/ rent. We loved the pillows, and wall art, my kids were entertained by it all. I highly recommend this apartment!

Beautiful beach property

We loved our stay. Once you get there you can walk everywhere. Great as a home base to explore the area or as a place to enjoy a beach vacation.
