Great Retreat!

Tasteful decor, well maintained, well stocked! Went for a family ‘Spring’ break. We had a great time - plenty of entertainment there and close to many fun activities for kids and adults! Perfect getaway!!! We will be back!!

Burnsville

We stayed here one weekend in order to attend a function in Mars Hill. My wife, my 98 year old mother-in-law, our golden retriever, and I stayed at this house and it worked great for all of us. Communication was great and helpful before, during, and after the stay.

Good stay

We had a great stay here! There was plenty of space and we all felt very comfortable. It could use a little updating in terms of appliances and faucets but everything was working. I’d also say that if you have small kids it should be noted that the back and side yards are on a very steep incline. They definitely cannot be outside without very close supervision.

Chillin 😎 in the mountains

We enjoyed our stay at your mountain cabin. Our only complaint was we were not able to enter as the last guest had lock a dead bolt that we didn’t have a key for. My daughter called and texted all three of the contact numbers and it took 40 minutes for someone to respond. After traveling for several hours this was a little bit of an issue. Other then that it was a perfect getaway and we would consider renting it again if we were in the area

quiet getaway

Finding this location is a little challenging on the rural roads, but once you do, you'll be glad you did! It's nice and quiet and has all the basics (and more, like a foosball and ping pong table!). The only thing to note is that parking is limited, so it's best to have 3 or less cars.

Wonderful little place to stay

We enjoyed staying at this little place for a fun Thanksgiving week trip to NC. We loved the decor and the convenience of having a full kitchen. Our kids enjoyed the ping pong and foosball tables.

Nice, clean, retreat

Fenced in yard if you have any dogs, good location, place was clean and comfortable. Ping Pong table and foosball table an added bonus. Beds were super comfortable.

Nice secluded retreat

Everything was as advertised. Place was clean and plenty of space. Beautiful scenery and secluded location with restaurants and grocery about 15 minutes away.

Spring Vacation in Burnsville

My husband and I, and our dog Maverick, enjoyed our stay at this comfortable home overlooking mountains and trees. It is a large home more conducive to a family with children or a dog as it has a fenced-in yard, bunk-beds, ping-pong, and foosball. The deck was a perfect place for coffee in the morning or drinks in the evening as the sun went down. I would definitely stay again if in the area close to many beautiful hikes with waterfalls! It was just the place to rest after six weeks of hiking the AT.

For the money, only one roll of toilet paper per bathroom? We left 4 rolls for the next guest! Fireplace ran out of gas last day. No Wi-Fi, kids where upset, we tried to contact, never called us or text us back regarding Wi-Fi

Thank you for the feedback. Our house-keepers are told to leave two rolls of toilet paper per bathroom. I apologize for this and I will be sure to follow up. As for the wifi, this cabin offers fiber to the cabin ( excellent wifi ) and I do not recall receiving an email or text during your stay. The fireplace pilot light may have gone out during your stay but the gas is 50% full and the Christmas guest did not have any issues with the fireplace or internet. Again, We apologize for any inconvenience.

Great house for family. Location good for exploring around Mt Mitchell. 40 mins to Asheville.

William took excellent care of our cabin, was easy to communicate with and respected all cabin and company’s instructions. They’re welcome to come back and stay at any of our vacation cabins anytime. Highly recommended!
