Smith family vacation

House was a perfect set up for our crew of ten. House was clean. Three bathrooms was a big bonus. And laundry room!! AMet the property manager and mentioned a few this to him that weren't working. He was apologetic and aware of the issues.

Perfect family getaway

Plenty of rooms & beds for our party of 6 adults & 4 children. A nice dock in a quiet cove = nonstop swimming!

Great place to stay

Our family of nine had a great time. House was perfect and so close to town. Very relaxing and lake is beautiful. Will definitely stay here again

Perfect as always

Stayed here several times now and everything is perfect for a family vaca. Access to lake and dock is very easy and the house is well equipped and clean. Cove is quiet and good to swim off dock. Thanks for a great stay.

Not great

The infestation of cats outside the property was an issue plus it seemed that potentially there were cats inside at one point. My daughter and I are very allergic. Also not very clean. Bathrooms had black mold, dishes were not washed. Sheets had stains etc. We ended up renting another home.

Great Stay at Norris Lake!

Overall my family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property managers were responsive and had the home set up with a fully stocked kitchen, towels, linens, and a full supply of wood for the wonderful covered fire pit. The property is conveniently located just a short drive from Knoxville and the Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area. The sheets/linens that were on the beds were in need of additional cleaning. They had stains, pet hair and long hair on them. Again, the stay was wonderful overall.

Perfect for families

A great property! We had 4 children ages 2-6. The gated deck was a great feature & the kids LOVED swimming in the quiet cove. The adults appreciated the covered fire pit area when the inevitable storms rolled through. Super easy to get to & close to shopping.

Lake trip

Great house and location on lake. Everything worked like it’s supposed. The terrain down to the dock requires sturdy shoes and mountain goat skills.

Lovin me some lake time

We always love our annual trip to Norris Lake. Always try to stay in different location every year. This property is very close to Indian River to put our boat in. Other marinas close by. The dock worked great and being in a cove made it a safe place to swim. The house had plenty of room for our family vacation. Really enjoyed our stay.

Lake trip

Overall it was a great trip. The house was clean and roomy. The rocks to get to the lake are wobbly, need to fix or add railings, there’s no way my mom could walk on them.

Wonderful!

We had a group of 6 adults and 1 2 year old. The house is very spacious and we had plenty of room! We did find the master bedroom to be a little warm and would recommend bringing a fan. We loved the fire pit and the dock. We rented a boat from Indian River Marina which was only a few minutes away. Overall we loved our stay and would highly recommend!

A great place to stay

This home was lovely inside, and spacious enough for the nine adults in our family. The whole house appeared to be freshly painted, and the decor was tasteful, and “just right.” The dock was very nice, and the lake was wonderful for swimming. The Norris Dam marina was about a 30 minute drive, and we went there twice, renting kayaks one day, and a pontoon boat another day. The Cumberland Gap museum and park were also within easy driving distance, as was the Appalachian Museum. My only suggestion would be to cut down the 3 dead trees in the yard, as they distract from the lovely view of the lake. We had a great time.

The house was fine - the problem that I had was getting to and from the dock. I realize that the water level has dropped, but walking through the rocks and over the wobbly ramp was treacherous for me and the grandkids

Lakehouse trip

The house itself was good for my family. But the ice maker did not work at all, there is a light in one bathroom burnt out. It would have been nice to have a cookie sheet or two. And the house next door had at least 12 cats that kept coming over on our deck a times, climbing on our things.

WE LOVED THE HOUSE!

We really loved the house. It worked out perfect for 11 of us. The house was extremely maintained. They picked up our trash a couple of times. We used the Blackstone grill. It was pretty easy to get to the dock , you do have to step over some stones but my 76 year old husband did just fine. It’s very close to Walmart and other fast food and groceries. Wi-Fi worked perfect. We had a problem with Wi-Fi last year , in our other rental. Not many steps and plenty of parking . I would highly recommend this house. The hosts were also very friendly.

Very disappointed in this property, it’s in a residential neighborhood where houses are in very clos

If we were just guys coming in for a fishing trip things would have been acceptable. Unfortunately this was not a camping trip and the women folks tagged along. Cleanliness was unacceptable. Although they professed to clean at warp speed, because they were still trying to clean when we arrived. They missed the furniture, under the furniture including the beds. There a lot of left over items from previous renters. The yard was unkept and it took them 3 days before they cleaned up the yard. Kitchen was very outdated and cooking utensils were wore out. We had to go and buy a decent skillet to cook in. We left early. We feel there should be a refund on cleaning fees and at least 2 days rent. The price of rental per night is not realistic. The only good selling point for the place is the deck
