¿Cansado de subir y bajar escalones? Luego venga a disfrutar de esta nueva casa que se encuentra en un lote de nivel de aguas profundas durante todo el año. Hay veinte pasos desde el sótano hasta el patio trasero casi nivelado que conduce al lago y al muelle de dos pisos.

Se accede al muelle de dos pisos a través de una rampa de hormigón. El nivel superior es una terraza para tomar sol de más de 600 pies cuadrados, con tres sillones, una mesa de picnic con sombrilla y un tobogán de agua. También hay 2 kayaks y una tabla de remo para su uso.

El nivel principal de la casa tiene dos dormitorios principales con baño privado, gran sala abovedada con altillo abierto y área de cocina / comedor. Disfrute de las vistas desde la gran sala abovedada con chimenea de leña. Los niños pueden escapar y jugar en el desván abierto con vista a la gran sala. Adjunto a la cocina está el porche proyectado (16x16) y la parrilla. Esta casa tiene más de 3000 pies cuadrados de tamaño.

Nuestra comunidad incluye un lanzamiento de bote pavimentado de concreto a solo media milla de nuestra casa. Está a 10 minutos en coche de la carretera principal y un total de 15 minutos al mercado Food Lion Market.

Fabulous family week

Perfect location and grandkids loved the dock, and adults, kayaks, slide, paddle board and much needed shade from the covered dock. Very relaxing. Very responsive owner. Very nice house, room to spread out and rooms that were never used. Highly recommend.

This was our second visit to this property. We especially enjoy the lake location and the dock area. Communication with owners was excellent and as always, there were wonderful family memories made.

Quiet fun on the lake

We had a fantastic week relaxing and enjoying the lake. Close to a no-wake zone which made swimming fun and safe. The house is clean and modern with all the amenities we needed like a well appointed kitchen, washer/dryer, a screened in porch, and firepit. The kids loved the kayaks, paddleboard, and slide. The property owner is very responsive! We never stay in the same rental twice but we'd consider it for this home.

Fabulous Family Vacation

This house is beautiful, kitchen is extremely well stocked, beds are comfortable, boat dock is such extra fun and the views are priceless. Such great family memories were made. Thank you for sharing your home with all of us.

Wonderful place!

I hesitate to give this place a glowing review because it will always be booked and unavailable on a return trip! The house is a fantastic location on the water with plenty of places for your group to hang out if you’re tired of boating or if the weather isn’t cooperating. Communication with host was easy and prompt. Would definitely come back!

Wonderful vacation and house

We had a wonderful stay at this house. It is exactly as advertised. We loved the easy walk to the dock. The huge dock with 2 covered slips was great. The cove was quiet and peaceful. The screened in porch and the balcony off the master were both nice places to relax. We also liked the speakers throughout the house. It was super easy to connect our music. There is a pretty stained glass window in the master bathroom. The road to the house was very narrow and a little tricky for towing a boat but we did not meet any other cars, so it was fine. The owner was super responsive. We have been visiting Norris for almost 20 years and this was our favorite house😀

The house was lovely, although we spent the majority of the time on the awesome dock! Thanks for the kyacks, etc. screened porch was great in the AM. The windows looking down on the lake were perfect! The children must have jumped off the dock or slide down the slide over a hundred times. We all had a wonderful week!

Perfect Lakeside Stay

We had an amazing stay at this property. We have been to Norris Lake once before and we really enjoyed this portion of the lake. It’s very close to several marinas and resorts, but it is just far enough away to have a very private feel. The nature preserve on the other side of the cove that the house is located in also helps it to feel more secluded and the views off the dock are beautiful. We typically have a boat only for a potion of our trip and the days we were without it were spent on the amazing dock, swimming and using the slide, paddle board and kayaks. We also loved the fire pit area in the yard. In our opinion, the listing pictures of the inside of the house don’t do it justice in terms of the layout. The kitchen and dining area offer great views of the beautiful backyard, lake and dock and the space opens up into the great room with the vaulted ceilings and loft. It was perfect and allowed everyone to interact while cooking. As noted in another review, the lower level has a wonderful set-up and layout for a family. We really enjoyed the gaming space and the foosball table. We had no complaints during our stay, and anything minor we noted was quickly addressed by the owner. We will be back!

Family Fun

So much fun on the dock, with slide, kayaks, paddle board, and fishing. The s'mores at the fire pit were a real hit with the kids and adults alike. This was our 4th time at this house and Norris never disappoints!

Exceptional rental

The home is beautiful, clean and well stocked. The kitchen had everything needed to prepare meals for the week. The lower level for the children had space to play, movies and video games. The main floor provided enough space for everyone to gather for meals, games and conversation. The added screened in porch was the perfect start to the day.

Wish we never had to leave

We stay at Norris 1 week every year and this is the best property we have stayed in! The house was remarkably clean and well decorated. I will say pulling up was a bit of a surprise because the house is closer to other properties than most we have stayed at but as soon as we walked in all anxiety was relieved. This house has a beautiful backyard and all of the lounge furniture on the deck, dock and firepit is top quality. The dock is great and we had absolutely no complaints. Book with confidence! One tip that maybe is obvious but somehow we missed….the bedroom layout is: 1 trundle bed in the loft 2 bedrooms on the main floor one king, one queen. The king has an attached private full bath. The queen has a full bath that is shared with the main living area. The basement is 3 bedrooms … 2 of them with 2 singles beds each and one bedroom with a queen. There is one full bathroom in the basement for all to share. It was a great layout but wasn’t fully clear from the listing!

TN pride

The weather was not very accommodating with this years vacation. Rained almost daily but we still had a great time. We had some problems with the propane grill only heating on one side. The water level had affected the dock which made it difficult to walk from the steps onto the platform connected to the dock. Nathan was very quick to remedy the positioning of the dock and make safe the transition from the steps to the platform. Grandkids loved jumping from the upper deck as well as the slide. It’s great that this dock can house two boats because many do not. The paddle board and kayaks were used daily. The whole family did not let the rain keep them from enjoying this lovely family VRBO. Home is well cared for as well with nice selection of kitchen supplies. Noticed dust bunnies under couches and some on the upper level daybed room light fixtures. Would not hesitate to stay there again as these dust bunnies did not reflect how nicely Home is kept up. Great to have a second refrigerator on the lower level for snacks and drinks. Washer and dryer were large capacity and efficient. Easy to throw in towels and suits at the end of the day to prepare for the next day. Very easy to recommend such a wonderful VRBO and working with Nathan was wonderful.

Wonderful Family Getaway!

Our whole family really enjoyed staying here. The location is a dream. Most of the time, our little part of the lake was a no-wake zone, until someone came and took the buoy away! The dock with kayaks, paddleboard, and the slide was so much fun for all of us. And when we weren't playing at the dock, we were hanging out in the lovely screened-in porch. I swear I would spend all of my time on that porch if I lived there! The property is well-maintained, with the exception of the cracked concrete pad on the way to the dock. We understand the water in the lake was low this year, but were nervous about the crevice in the walkway. It didn't spoil the trip, but we were concerned for the safety of our unsteady family members. The home itself is beautiful - the windowed living room is really a centerpiece. The living space and bedrooms were perfect for our needs, and the kitchen was very well-stocked in terms of good cooking utensils, knives, etc. 5/5 trip, for sure!
