This authentic Colorado custom log home is the perfect home for family reunions, special occasions, or for those times when you want to build a truly memorable vacation. This casual elegant home can sleep 10 people, is stunning both inside as well as outside. To make things better, this home boarders the National Forest with seemingly endless trails offering some of the best mountain and Pagosa Peak views anywhere.

This entire home is newly furnished and each bedroom offers a private full bathroom, large closets and wonderful beds and bedding. Walking through the grand entrance of this home, you will enter the large, yet cozy living room with a large rock fireplace, leather couch, cute game cube in the corner and beautiful views of the open forest and outside living room. The living opens on to the dining area and kitchen. The dining table is large enough and has seats for the entire group with an amazing hutch with sink within reach. You can get to the back yard directly from the dining area as well. The kitchen has everything needed and is one of those perfect kitchens for cooking and preparing meals, or even better, to have one of our private chefs entertain you with a special meal. Upstairs from the living room is your game / bar loft with full bar amenities, game table and amazing views.

Down the hall toward the garage is a full laundry room with large capacity machines, iron and ironing board and storage area. There is a powder room in the hall that opens on to 2 bedrooms. The first bedroom has a king bed, sitting area, new smart TV, full bathroom, large closet and it's own outside covered patio with table and chairs. The last bedroom on this hall is set up perfectly for the kiddos with a log bunk bed with 2 queen beds, full bathroom and large closet, and views to the National Forest.

There is an onsite apartment over the detached garage with 2 full beds, a kitchen, living room, deck and full bath that is available for an additional fee. Message us if you are interested. There is no guest access to the garage attached to the apartment. It's the perfect place for a separate family to stay or for the adult kids to hang out.

The back yard is perfect for any occasion with a large grass area overlooking the "Coyote Hill" area of the San Juan Forest with miles of trails perfect for hiking, walking the dog, cross country skiing or snow shoeing. The back yard has a well maintained hot tub, real wood burning fire pit, outdoor living area with fireplace, lounge chairs and couch, a lump coal/briquette Komodo Komado grill which uses gas to ignite the coals and an outside dining area. We can send you instructions on its usage. The outside is totally private and does not overlook any homes.

All recreational vehicles, whether motorized or non-motorized, camper units, trailers, and similar units must be kept or stored in the garage or stored off of the property. If you plan to bring a trailer, the dimensions will need to be provided & approved, along with a photo to have on file.
