Amazing Home, Close to Hatcher, Turkey Springs, One of a Kind!

As you pull on to the property, you'll know you picked the perfect home for your vacation with the super large front yard, very few and distant neighbors, and wonderful decks and outdoor entertainment.

This grand home has two sides to it, with an outdoor covered living area in between. The main house has 3 bedrooms 4 1/2 bathrooms, large TV / play room, and large living and dining areas. Most all with wonderful views of the valley and mountains in the distance. You walk in to the living room with full height, 2 story windows with cozy couches facing the two sided wood burning fireplace, reading areas and a separate sitting area in front of a second gas stove. Overlooking the living room, the spacious kitchen has everything a chef would want with plenty of counter space, large stove/oven and cooking utensils. On the other side of the two sided fireplace is the dining area with large family dining table and access to the front deck. On the main level is the first of 2 master suites with king bed, access to outside private deck, walk in closet, and nice full bathroom.

Upstairs you will find a play loft with pool table, games and views. The second master suit with king is on the 2nd floor, has a nice sitting area, small office desk, TV and nice master bathroom. On the other side of the loft is a queen bedroom with private bath.

In between the main and guest house is a one of a kind covered outdoor living area with wood burning fireplace, large comfortable couch, TV, dart board and outdoor dining table. Access to the front and back yards are made from this area. The guest house is a perfect little getaway in itself. On the main floor is living and dining areas with gas fireplace and nice craftsmanship. There is a full kitchen that is fully stocked. The bedroom has a king bed, access to outside private decks and nice full bathroom. Upstairs there's 1 twin bed and a full bed with a bathroom.

There are so many nice areas to this home, but the outside is one of our favorites. There is a gas grill and green egg to choose from to grill or smoke your dinner. There is also a large 6 person hot tub to enjoy every season. This property has a maximum occupancy of 10 guests.

ALL TRAILERS, RV'S, CAMPERS OR OTHER RECREATION VEHICLES MUST BE APPROVED PRIOR TO ARRIVAL TO BE ALLOWED ON PREMISES.

This home does not have AC and is not pet friendly.

The place was great! Huge open area with a ton of space. Beds were comfortable and heaters in each room made it nice and cozy. More than enough space for group and everything we needed was available. Hot tub was perfect after skiing. Would recommend to anyone staying in the area.

Family from AZ, KS & MO came together for a wonder family vacation. We hiked and fished, had fun cooking playing games, and smores every night. Enjoyed music throughout the property and the hot tub!

Buchanan spring break 2023

Our family has been coming to Pagosa Springs for 12 years and have always stayed at same house. That house was sold and was no longer available so we decided to stay at this home…well it was an amazing house! We hope to continue our family tradition here! Clearly we would stay here again and would highly recommend to others. This house has a ton of space and a wonderful kitchen and family area for all to gather! Communication was top notch! Thank you!

Wonderful family friendly property

Reviewer Comments: This home was perfect for our multi-generational family gathering. We were lucky enough to come in during nice weather and it snowed 15" the very next day. The young kids had a blast sledding down the hill in the back of the property. The hot tub was wonderful for kids and adults and everything was easy to use with plenty of dishes and silverware. The beds were comfortable with plenty of blankets. Having the house and the guest house was amazing for our group and easy to transition back and forth with the covered porch. I would recommend this property to anyone who asked, it is in a perfect setting and wonderfully set up. Kudos to the home owners.

Going for the big diamond V.S. Quality

Antler Mountain is a beautiful , large, wonderfully decorated, home filled with lots of entertainment opportunities for your group. However, upon arrival, the main heat in the house was out causing us to have to use space heaters in every room and the large center fireplace ( there is no central heat). And that was fine, until the heat went out in the separate apartment too and we have to share space heaters causing some rooms in main house to be cold. We did have a fire in main fire place going at all times , however, on four occasions it smoked up the house sometimes causing the smoke alarms to go off.... frustrating Long, story short... on our vacation we had to "work" at keeping the house warm at all times. The water heater went out one night in the main house and a separate night in the apartment causing us to go without showers for two days... We had maintenance crew there for of the six days of our stay. ...The house only came stocked with twelve towels...one for each person for six days...not enough. The bathroom on the main floor was out of order the entire time...the trash cans were stuffed full for the entire week we were there from the renters the previous week, so we had no trash cans to put trash. This house was not what was expected and we will not be coming back during the winter because it is not well plumbed or heated in the winter.

Becky, We are very sorry that during your time at this beautiful home that you had to deal with these issues. We were in contact, as you know, throughout your entire stay. This home has always had space heaters in the bedrooms as that is how those rooms get heated. The part for the gas fireplace in the living room area had been ordered and we were waiting for the part to come in(it is working fine now) This home is not advertised with central heat. This issue with the water heater, again couldn't be anticipated and we had our maintenance guy there multiple times, to help with that. We state in our guest information binder that we are always happy to bring more towels if desired and we did bring you additional towels promptly after you requested them. These homes have washing machines which gives all guests the ability to wash whatever they choose as well. In regard to the bathroom on the main floor, this bathroom is a powder room(there are 4 other bathrooms in this home and 2 in the guest house). You were informed prior to arrival that we had ordered the necessary part but due to it being Christmas the part was most likely not going to come in during your stay. You had responded to my information by saying “And no biggie on the bathroom either”. In response to the trash being full, I had also informed you that the trash cans were full and I directed you to place your trash bags in the utility room adjacent to the trash cans and that we would take care of it. Trash gets picked up here once a week here like everywhere else and during the holidays we do all that we can to remove trash for our guests. I encourage you to come back during a different time of year and experience all that this home and it’s surroundings have to offer. Your VIP Team

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I would like to say the house itself is very nice but the manager of the house is not a very nice person in general. We all flew from all over the US to meet her here. Everyone at different times. Some were there a little early and wanted to get into the house a little early. We were told no! It was two hours early no one had stayed in the house for three days prior. Two towels per bathroom and washing rag was hard to find. The porches could not be used because they decided no to get snow off. So only one door could be used to entrance and exit. Then there was the leak that was dripping in the main dining room. The room could not be used for any or our meals. They house is amazing if you take the property manager out of the equation. If I were the owners, I would switch property managers. I would not recommend because of that.

Amazing Space

We loved our stay. The home accommodated everyone. The kitchen was amazing. My husband loves to cook. We had everything we needed.

Best thing that could have ever happened. This place is wonderful, has great accessibility, and has everything you could ever want. We played pool, board games, swam in the hot tub, watched the superbowl on the big screen TV. Kids played in playhouse out back with a snowball fight, and also slid down the hill on sleds (found those in the storage room). This place has everything!
