Newer built cottage-short walk to beach

Welcome to Uncorked cottage! This newly built cottage (built 4 years ago) is tucked away on a quiet stone drive, among birds and trees, and an easy 5 minute walk to public beach (Mckinley). Brand new build with open concept living. First floor is kitchen, dining, living room, bathroom, washer and drier. Open concept with concrete floors, barn doors, and reclaimed barn wood beam. Second floor hard wood, high ceilings, 2 bedrooms (1 king and 1 queen), bunk room that sleeps 4, and full bath.

The kitchen is spacious with great counter top workspace, huge granite island that seats 4, stainless steel appliances, and fully stocked (microwave, dishwasher, oven, gas cook top and coffeemaker w/drip or pod).

Family room has 55" ROKU HDTV

Large screened in porch, outdoor BBQ, firepit and outdoor shower.

Linens, towels, and beach towels provided.

6 beach chairs, beach umbrella, and wagon provided.

2 Sonos speakers.

Weekly rental (Sunday to Sunday preferred-cleaning service is great but doesn't work on Saturdays) during summer months (May 29 to September 11)

No pets allowed!

Our family gives this rental 5 stars all around. The extra touches provided here are simply the best—nice beach chairs, towels, comfy beds, an amazing kitchen… we could go on, but you get the idea. Owners were super responsive and answered all of our questions. Great location with just a short walk to the beach. We have vacationed in this area for several years. Will definitely be looking to stay here again.

Great little cottage

We loved our stay at the uncorked cottage. It was the perfect size for our family. Short walk to a nice beach. Lots of great restaurants in the area. The house is very nicely finished.

Amazing stay

I can't say how much we enjoyed our trip. I was very impressed at how well stocked the place was. The proximity to the beach was an added bonus, we were able to go a couple times despite it being September. It's also a great location, near restaurant, hiking and nearby towns such as New Buffalo and Threw Oaks.

Cozy, Clean, and Charming

We loved our stay here! It was stocked with tons of books, games, kitchen equipment, beach stuff…nothing was overlooked. It was clean, so comfortable and cozy, and the screened-in front porch was our favorite area. We are already talking about returning next year.

Outstanding in every way

We absolutely loved our stay at this outstanding cottage. My family and I have stayed at several locations throughout Southwest Michigan. We all agree, This is the best one we’ve stayed at. It is extremely clean, a great location and has just about everything you could ever imagine in a great rental. We highly recommend this place.

Late-season getaway

Found this sweet spot on an impromptu decision to the lake. We love this area and being so close to the beach is the best. The house is the most well-appointed rental we’ve ever been in; the best part is the library and games are so well thought out, and my wife was immediately gratified to see everything organized by category and interest. We’ll absolutely stay again. Thank you!

A Lovely Cottage in Union Pier

This cottage is a hidden jewel. Quality work was done on the interior and exterior. Great kitchen set-up and a variety of cookware. Also, a well-stocked library of books and games for all ages. The upstairs and downstairs Sonos speakers was a nice touch. Two-thumbs up.

Wonderful, relaxing getaway

Everything about this property is amazing. Extremely clean & organized. They had games to play, books to read. The house had all of the amenities and household items we needed. The beach was a 5-minute walk and the local coffee shop was a 7-9 minute walk. Sheila was responsive and replied to my text questions very promptly. A great getaway spot! We would definitely come back.
