With a prime location right between the 8-Passenger BreckConnect Gondola and Snowflake lift, this splendid River Mountain Lodge is exactly what you've been waiting to find for your next winter vacation.

Take in the cool mountain air from the private balcony while you enjoy your first cup of coffee in the morning then spend your afternoon tearing down awesome slopes like Cashier and Bonanza. Afterward, you'll love thawing out in the shared hot tub or sauna before using the suite's full kitchen to cook up an amazing dinner for everyone to enjoy. Don't forget to play a few arcade games in the community game room. Downtown Breckenridge is right next door with lots of boutiques, restaurants, and activities to enjoy.

Nearby, Cucumber Gulch Wildlife Preserve and Breckenridge Fairy Forest are both terrific places to visit for hikes and nature viewing. You'll also love eating at some of the awesome local restaurants like Empire Burger, The Canteen Tap House and Tavern, Downstairs At Eric's, and Flip Side Breckenridge. Alpine Fishing Adventures is less than 10 miles north and ready to take you out to reel in some brown trout, rainbow trout, kokanee salmon, and arctic char.

The unit was comfortable and conveniently located. We were provided with most of what we needed including space heaters, and humidifiers. The only minor complaint was that the furniture was a bit tightly packed in some of the rooms which led to it feeling a little cramp and having some of my family running into the furniture.

Location…location…location

This was a perfect location to enjoy practically everything in Breckenridge within walking distance. We attended concerts by the National Repertory Orchestra which was held at the Riverwalk Center pretty much next door to our rooms.

Great Stay!

Wonderful stay in E217! Rented one bedroom condo with adjoining hotel room. Balconies in living room and bedroom overlook pool and hot tub which was nice and never a noise issue. Everything extremely clean-kitchen items, carpet, bathroom fixtures, bedding. Easy to use gas fireplace. Good quality towels with generous supply. Drip coffee maker with filters provided and coffee for one pot. Well stocked kitchen-towels, dish soap, glasses, mugs…anything you would need. Lobby offers complimentary coffee, tea and hot chocolate all day, and there is a filtered water refill station available. Easy underground parking and we never used the car as everything we needed (including bus stop and gondola) were walking distance. This was our second stay at River Mountain Lodge and will be our go-to spot from now on!

Right at the end of 4 o’clock. We skied every day. We ate most meals in but could walk to everything else we wanted to eat too!

Great Ski Trip

We have stayed at River Mountain Lodge many times, and this unit was probably one of the nicest ones we have stayed in. The location can't be beat for accessing the slopes and town. The unit was comfortable, with plenty of room for two couples. The beds and pillows were also comfortable. The only issue we had was that the keys to the second room (218) did not work the first night, and we had a second issue with them not working the day before we checked out. Also, be aware that River Mountain Lodge will not provide towels for the pool/hot tub - bring your own!

Really 2 units rented as 1. Great location

2 units rented as 1. A 1 bedroom condo and a hotel room with connecting door. They both have comfy beds and good showers, plenty of towels. Both are clean. the hotel room desperately needs updating. The bathtub, shower and toilet are chipped and stained and the mini frig is not usable. It is a dark and tired unit. The 1 bedroom unit was better maintained and a good value for the price. The location is great, can’t be beat.

Location, location, location

Short walk to Main St!! Comfy beds, well equipped, clean. Check in/check out is at a seperate location z couple of miles away. Would be nice to xheck in at the condo's location.

The location was great however youre booking from vacasa for this location. The actual lodge does not help with anything. Vacasa location is elsewhere. Read listing well and look at pictures you may end up with a balcony with no view.

clean and close

river mountain lodge was a nice, clean, and quiet place to stay for our trip to Breckenridge. My only complaints are the beds are VERY firm and the showerhead in both bathrooms had a leak and you only got about 50% of the normal spray for a shower, the remainder dribbled down the back of the showerhead.

Good overall, no extra room keys was a pain...since we have other than one person in room.

Okay, the hot tubs were way too HOT, around 110 - 114 degrees, scalding...needs to be at 104 degrees....I didn't like the fact that the sauna and steam room were in operative...why go to a resort that doesn't have resort amenities.

Beautiful property

The listing was not too clear online on how the second “hotel” room style room connected with the condo. The hotel room side was completely updated and modern. Beautiful warm pool to use as well! All within a 2 minute walk to Main Street.
