This perfect St Johns River house has a dock and boat slip on the river, then also has an additional dock with boat parking on the canal on the other side of the house. It has huge windows that over look the gorgeous river. A nice deck with a jacuzzi that you can relax in next to the river. Enjoy the sunset or go fishing right off the dock. Bring your boat and take a ride to the beautiful, clear springs right down the river. Silver Glen Springs and Salt Springs are both close by boat or car. This is a small, quiet town, yet close to many major attractions. Beaches and Daytona speedway are a 40 minute drive. Disney, Universal, and Sea World are just over an hour away. Please message us for any questions. We look forward to hosting you in our favorite getaway place.

Great place to stay

The River House is absolutely wonderful for us. We have a place to park the boat. We enjoy fishing right at the house. We love the peacefulness and relaxation this house has to offer. Love seeing the wildlife. Overall, this property meets all our needs.

2nd time staying here

Daytona Beach Bike week 2025

Great location for a rally riding group. Location gives you a nice ride to Daytona beach about 35 minutes. Be mindful when properly manager tells you how to park your bike trailer … lol it’s tight ! Great location on the waterway and nice to get back from a day of crowd.

We greatly enjoyed our stay at this property on the St. Johns River in Astor FL. We went to an event at the Barberville Pioneer Settlement and the house was conveniently close by. We'll definitely stay again. Thanks!

Amazing Riverfront Cottage

Great location on the river. I’ve never been to the St. John’s River, so I was pleasantly surprised by our stay. The home was clean and had just enough of the basic amenities to allow the 5 of us to enjoy family time. Plus, there are two boat docks and the best view of the river. We loved it!

Awesome house on the St Johns

The house was well maintained and clean. I loved the view of the river from the living room. The house is located just a short boat ride from Lake George to the north and Lake Dexter to the south.

Great Location

Wonderful stay. Quite, relaxing and great views from the Hot Tub. We had a problem where only half of the grill worked and the owner brought over a new grill in the rain and set it up for us. Thank you for a successful 40 th birthday celebration!

Fantastic Weekend

This home is perfect for a long weekend on the river with friends. Easy river access for out boat. House was very clean, comfortable, well stocked and being able to sit in the hot tub and enjoy the beautiful view and the boats passing by was wonderful. Host was very responsive, helpful, and answered questions immediately. Will definitely return when back in the area. Thank you!!

Right on the river

Lovely house right on the river. (Many other water-front rentals are on canals directly across from other property). A nice surprise was a large covered deck out back across the driveway looking at a quiet lagoon with birds, turtles, squirrels. Amenities were great. The only small thing to note is that, despite the online description, bring your own shampoo, conditioner and body wash. None provided. All other descriptions right on.Our pontoon boat was very secure in the dock slip. Beds were comfortable. A folding luggage holder would have been nice because, at least in one bedroom, there was no place to put the suitcase except on the bed or floor. Also no closet to hang clothes. Kitchen was well stocked. The house was very clean and well kept. This was a wonderful rental.

Birthday fishing trip

Absolutely loved staying here for a week! Conveniently located close to the boat ramp and a few of the local restaurants. This rental had everything we needed. We were specially excited about the boat slip at the house since we took our bass boat down with us. The view from the living room was amazing to wake up to every morning. House was clean. Living area spacious. Comfortable bed and pillows. Definitely planning on coming back here!

Great location

The unit had wonderful setting with two different docks. The checkin was simple and the unit was clean. The kitchen was small and the bathrooms were workable but just so. Enjoyed the hot tub and the screen porch. The biggest issue was just having a toilet set in the closet in one room and the shared shower downstairs even smaller than showers on most cruise ships. With all that would consider staying again because of the great location.

Wonderful stay

We had an absolutely wonderful stay. The property is less than 20 minute drive from numerous beautiful natural springs and swimming areas. Don't miss silver glen springs. Alexander, juniper, and fern hammock springs are all wonderful as well.

I'm not an early riser but both days I was up before anyone so I could sit on the deck next to the water. It was so beautiful!!! Need to go back when we have more time because we had no time for the hot tub!! Loved it!!!! Loved it!!!! Loved it!!!! Carrie was quick to get back to us on any questions we had.

Perfect little place

We absolutely loved staying here! The home was in a great location, so quiet and peaceful and with the most magnificent view! We loved boating through the river, Lake George and the springs and had a blast riding ATV’s through the Ocala National Forest. Definitely a hidden gem in Florida and we will certainly be back to this home. Just loved our visit!

Kayaking Weekend

We enjoyed staying in this adorable river cottage while we spent the weekend exploring and kayaking the local springs and rivers. We loved hanging out at the cottage in the evening, looking at the river and using the grill and hot tub. We also enjoyed the bonus Christmas boat parade!
