We love this cozy and comfortable Tahoe Donner cabin. Conveniently located, we are just off of Northwoods blvd, on a small and quiet street.

Our home is two stories, and has three cozy, mountain-themed bedrooms. On the first floor, you will find our open kitchen, dining, and living area with floor to ceiling windows, lots of natural light, vaulted ceilings, and more.

Our kitchen has all of the appliances and cooking ware you will need to enjoy home cooked meals with friends and family. We even have an indoor grill!

Our dining area is set up for 4, but if you pull it out, can sit 6. We also have three seats at the breakfast bar.

In the living room, you enjoy a large comfortable couch, an entertainment center with a Smart TV, cable, a Sony receiver for CDs and radio, as well as a DVD player. We also have a large selection of board games in the hall closet, perfect for the kiddos!

The focal point of the room is our wood burning stove, which you can use to cozy up and enjoy on those cold winter nights. Please plan ahead to bring wood to burn.

The living room connects directly to our outdoor deck and backyard. On our sunny deck, you will find a rod iron outdoor dining set as well as a gas powered BBQ for all of your Summer grilling. We also have a large backyard to explore in the winter or summer months!

There is a half bathroom off of the living room as well as a closet filled with family games and books.

The master bedroom is on the first floor. We have comfortable queen sized bed, access to the deck, lots of windows, a dresser, and an en suite bathroom with a large jetted tub!

Upstairs you will find two more bedrooms and the third bathroom. The first guest bedroom has a full bed, a dresser and closet, and lovely little balcony where you can enjoy the morning and afternoon sun. It feels like you are in a treehouse!

The third bedroom is our twin room with two twin beds. You have a lot of windows bringing in light, a dresser and closet in here as well. The bathroom is has a shower/tub combo.

Downstairs, you will also have access to the laundry room with a washer and dryer, as well as the garage. You can fit one car in the garage and one in the driveway.

All guests have access to the Tahoe Donner resort amenities using our guest passes. We offer our guests two passes, allowing 8 people total. Please note that you do have to pay the daily rate to access the amenities.

We have everything from a gym and pool to tennis, golf, skiing, a marina, and much more!

Our home is professionally cleaned and we are taking extra cleaning precautions.

TAHOE DONNER AMENITIES
You will be provided guest passes that permit access and discount pricing at numerous Tahoe Donner recreational amenities such as the Trout Creek Recreation Center, Snow Play Area (has sledding), and Tahoe Donner Ski Area (ideal for beginners/families with kids). Tahoe Donner boasts a premier Nordic center with 70 km of trails, excellent for both beginner and advanced cross country skiers. Five minutes away, The Trout Creek Recreation Center has an exercise facility with state of the art exercise equipment, fitness classes, an adult lap pool that is heated to 82 degrees year-round, saunas, and massage treatments.

In the non-winter months, the Tahoe Donner amenities include a private beach on the east side of Donner Lake, where you can enjoy a BBQ, swimming, boat/kayak rentals and the use of the private boat launch. Crawdad fishing is a favorite of the kids in the marina. There are three swimming pools, tennis courts and bocce ball courts. Also biking trails, hiking, campgrounds and a world-class 18 hole golf course. Oh yes, there is also an equestrian center with pony rides for kids. Tahoe City and Kings Beach are less than 15 miles away.

Please note that this rental does require purchasing short term vacation rental insurance for stays up to 29 nights (reservations longer than 29 nights will need to discuss insurance options with Tahoe Cohost Collective prior to booking). The SafelyStay, Inc. Trust and Safety Fee includes up to $10,000 of accidental coverage for contents damage and up to $100,000 coverage for accidental property damage and bodily injury, if the fee has been paid. The Trust and Safety Fee is refundable only if the reservation is canceled in writing at least twenty-four (24) hours prior to the arrival date. Please note that living in the mountains and staying in a private home means that there are some things we cannot always control. For example, weather and harsh conditions have knocked out Wifi and the power before. While these instances are far and few between, we please ask that you are patient as these are things that we unfortunately cannot control. While we will try and accommodate all requests, we handle refunds for situations like this (power outages, appliances breaking, etc.) on a case by case basis.
