Beach Therapy at Maravilla by My Galveston Getaway

You deserve a little Beach Therapy and you've found it in this serene, 2 bedroom, 2 full bath condo at the Maravilla. Top floor! Amazing views of the gulf, the nearby lagoon where countless species of birds take a dip, and overlooking one of the three (the heated in off-season) pools.

No stone has been unturned when planning this great escape - which welcomes up to 8 guests. A king bed in the master bedroom, queen in the second bedroom, full sized convertible sofa in the living room and true twin bunks in the hallway alcove provide a variety of sleeping spaces for the entire family - or for two couples with little ones to share.

Two full baths give you plenty of space to get ready for a night on the town or to shower after a long day at the beach (though we do ask that you rinse off at the pool shower before coming up to the condo).

The kitchen has EVERYTHING that you could need whether you’re going to make popcorn and snuggle to watch movies on the couch, or make your gourmet family delicacies while on vacation.

My Galveston Getaway provides starter supplies of toiletries, paper products, dish cleaning options and coffee to get our guests started and situated before making their shopping lists and determining which shopping option works best for their group. These supplies are not intended to last your entire group the duration of your stay - but to get started!

We also provide one bath towel, hand towel and wash cloth for each guest that the unit sleeps, along with 2 dish towels. Should you wish to have additional housekeeping services during your stay or to have linen swaps during your stay, these can be arranged with advance notice upon request at an additional cost.

There is currently construction going on in one building of the complex. This does not affect the condo you are reserving from us or any of the amities of the complex.

Galveston is a barrier island in Texas located on the Gulf of Mexico. From time to time we have unexpected rain, thunderstorms, and sometimes we do have tropical storms and hurricanes. From time to time there may be brief interruptions in electricity and WiFi services due to weather. You should consider purchasing trip interruption or cancelation protection through the platforms or another source. We are unable to guarantee sunny days, mosquito free nights and perfect weather, nor do we refund for these possibilities. We issue refunds in the event of mandatory evacuations issued by a governmental agency, or for the property being unavailable due to damages and extended power outages. Trip cancelation and interruption coverage is available through most booking platforms as well as through private vendors found on the world wide web should you wish to purchase such a policy.


After making your reservation you will receive a link to complete our renters agreement. The only information we request differently than the booking platforms (VRBO/AirBnB) is your personal email address, the names and ages of each person who will be in the property during your stay, and your driver’s license information as well as an emergency contact should we need to reach someone on your behalf. Thank you for completing this in a timely manner so that we may send you the check-in instructions for the property you have reserved.

For all reservations made directly through our website and through VRBO, there is a $300 security deposit “hold” required. You certainly can purchase trip cancellation/interruption coverage through those platforms as well if you so desire, this is a damage “deposit” hold. This is released once our housekeepers advise that the property has been left in the condition received with no damages occurring during your stay. This is not a charge, but a hold on the credit card on file with which the reservation is made. Should there be damages and they exceed $300 to repair or replace, you will be notified and asked to make arrangements to compensate for those items.

My Galveston Getaway cancellation policy: If your cancelation is received more than 30 days before your scheduled arrival date, there is a $100 cancelation fee, the remainder is refundable. If your reservation is cancelled 14-30 days prior to your scheduled arrival date there is a $100 cancelation fee, 50% of the remainder is refundable. If your cancelation is made between arrival and 13 days prior to your scheduled arrival date, there will be no refund issued.
