Beautiful, newly updated cabin on Lake Thompson. Located in Rinelander, the recreation destination of Wisconsin. The Tamarack Cabin is situated on the ATV and snowmobile trails. Ride right from the cabin or spend the day with your family on the lake. Bring your boat and use our pier, with boat landing less than a mile away. There are four spacious bedrooms to choose from, full kitchen, wireless internet, cable TV and a large deck for enjoying the sunsets.

Family visit

Family Christmas

We celebrated Christmas at our Family Cabin and needed extra space. The cottage was perfect! Just a little mishap with the code for checking in on Friday. Otherwise everything else worked out perfect. Especially since our favorite local bar, Twin Pines is right up the road.

Amazing place to stay

The house was clean and well maintained. It was a great getaway for a weekend of hockey. Close proximity to the rink, room to be comfortable and the ability for the kids to fish, relax and hang out between games.

Lake Thompson Family Vacation -Outstanding

Aug Family Vacation - this property was excellent. Waterfront, pier, camp fire, right out the front door. Amazing View. Property had everything we needed, very clean, modern, very comfortable. Sleeping for 8 if needed. Beds very comfortable, great pillows and comforters. Kitchen fully furnished. Defiantly will be back. Cynthia the property manager, extremely helpful and accessible. We could not have asked for more. 5 stars for sure. Thank you Cynthia.

Nice place

The cabin was very nice. There were just a couple things. One bedroom did not have a battery in the smoke detector. That same room had issues with the lock on the door. The kitchen could use washcloths. Other then that, it was very clean, and we had a nice time.

Great ice fishing trip

The cabin is right on Lake Thompson with easy access to pull our shanty out on the ice. Both days got some blue gills, crappie and got a nice northern on a tip up. Would definitely come back again. Nice clean cabin in a great area of Wisconsin!

Great vacation location.

Location was perfect on the lake. Close to town for any shopping you may need. Plenty of room. Only downfall is you have to bring your own towels and washcloths. I drove and the rest of my family flew in. I had to buy dish towels, dishrags, bath towels and washcloths. If this information was given right away, I wouldn’t have had to buy all this. Also, a snow shovel would be great instead of using the dust pan to shovel the snow off the porch and sidewalk. Other than that we had a great time.

Absolutely wonderful!

We had an amazing experience at the cabin and would certainly come again. Our family of four was very comfortable and really liked all the updated amenities. Our hosts were excellent communicators and made the place feel just like home. Highly recommend this rental!

Great Getaway

Family getaway

We loved the cottage! There were four bedrooms so everyone could have their space, plus a fair sized kitchen and family room. Our kids loved swimming in the beach area which had a swim raft. The one thing to stress is this is part of a condo association, so the areas are all shared. Everyone we met was extremely friendly but if you are looking for a private place this may not be your rental. Cynthia was great to work with and we are hoping to come back next year! The a/c worked great, wifi was nice on our rainy day, and was very clean. Thanks again for blessing our family with your cottage!
