The Space:
With an elevated position overlooking the Point Cartwright beachfront, this generously sized family home offers stunning ocean views and refreshing sea breezes across all three levels. Start your mornings with a coffee on the deck as the sun rises over the water, or simply stroll across the road for a walk along the golden sand. From the moment you arrive, it’s all about ease—settle in, pour a complimentary drink, and let the view do the rest.
The ground floor offers a relaxed space to unwind, featuring a casual living/rumpus room with a large TV and two comfortable bedrooms—ideal for giving everyone a little extra space and privacy. Step outside to find a small fenced yard and a separate pool area which is heated and complete with sun lounges, perfect for soaking up the sunshine or cooling off after a beach stroll. The home is pet-friendly too, with secure fencing to keep your furry friend safe and happy.
Upstairs, the heart of the home opens into a bright, airy space where the living, dining, and kitchen areas all flow effortlessly onto a large wraparound balcony. Whether you're cooking in the fully equipped kitchen, enjoying a meal at the table, or simply lounging with the doors open to the sea breeze, the ocean is always in view. The balcony is set up for alfresco dining with a BBQ—perfect for laid-back dinners with a coastal backdrop.
The top level is a dedicated parents’ retreat, offering a spacious main bedroom with a walk-in robe, ensuite, and private balcony overlooking the coastline. It's the perfect place to start your day in peace or wind down with the sound of the waves in the background. The Neighborhood:
Point Cartwright is an un-patrolled beach situated at the base of the headland at the very northern end of Kawana beach. It’s popular with locals for its surf break. The high cliffs of the coastal headland reserve provide spectacular views of Mooloolaba, the Mooloolah River mouth, Mount Coolum to the north and Kawana Beach to the south. It’s often possible to spot migratory humpback whales, turtles, and ships entering and leaving the Port of Brisbane.
Grassy slopes provide excellent locations for family picnics, and toilet facilities are available at the Pacific Boulevard entrance to the reserve. La Balsa Park, at the end of Harbour Drive and on the edge of the Mooloolah River is the perfect place for the kids to play and the adults to sit and enjoy the sea breeze. Many visitors and residents enjoy fishing from the banks of the Mooloolah River or the bund wall, which are accessible from the Harbour Drive entrance and the reserve.
Getting Around:
Once you have arrived, everything can be accessed via a short walk. The northern end of the Kawana beach stretch is directly across the road.
The closest patrolled beach is Kawana, less than a 5-minute drive down the road (or Mooloolaba Beach is only 10 mins north). The stunning Pt Cartright headland and La'Balsa park are a 5-minute walk towards the headland.
The Kawana shopping centre is also within a 10-minute walk.
Uber rides and taxis are easy to get from this location. The closest bus stop is only a few minutes walk back towards Kawana shopping world.
If you have your own car, there is ample space to park on the premises or on the road directly in front of the house.

*Pet-friendly for dogs - upon application, a $100 pet fee applies. Please reach out to us for pre-approval before booking. Please note we do not accept cats. We ask that you please clean up after them thoroughly. This includes inside and outside areas. Please keep your pets off the furniture and especially off the beds. Should these rules not be followed you will be charged an additional $200 cleaning fee.
*We DO NOT take schoolies bookings
*No guests under the age of 20 travelling independently, fine if accompanied by family (ie. young adults apart from a family booking is ok.)
*This home is in a residential community with neighbours in close proximity. We have quiet hours on the Sunshine Coast after 9pm. We ask that you also generally respect our neighbours and keep noise to a minimum generally.
*Please note to stay with us you will be required to fill out a check-in form for your stay. This is a requirement of all our guests that stay with us, access to our home will only be provided after the completion of our form.
*Electric vehicle charging: If you plan on charging your electric car while on holiday, we would appreciate it if you could first consider using the designated charging stations available at nearby shopping centres and public locations. These are great alternatives and help us manage our power usage. If you need to charge your electric car at our home, please reach out for pre-approval beforehand. Please be aware that there is an additional charge for this. We appreciate your understanding.
