Bayview Retreat Oneroa

Bayview Retreat se sienta en un canto que ha impresionantes vistas sobre las islas del golfo, el Coromandel y de nuevo hacia la costa norte y bahías orientales de Auckland. Este es un gran lugar para relajarse en el ambiente tranquilo y disfrutar de las vistas desde el piso superior de planta abierta y amplia terraza.

Hay espacio para amigos y familiares y un gran jardín con olivos y limoneros. Nos encanta este lugar para el fácil acceso a la playa de Little Oneroa y productos lácteos (10 minutos a pie), Sandy Bay y Hekerua Bay. Está a solo cinco minutos a pie de la parada del autobús y a 20 minutos del pueblo de Oneroa con todas sus tiendas y cafés. También nos gusta visitar los viñedos locales algunos de los cuales se puede llegar a pie o en bicicleta.
Condiciones especiales:
• Reserva mínima 2 noches.
• Reserva mínima de 3 noches durante fines de semana largos.
• 7 noches de reserva mínima en Navidad Año Nuevo (20 de diciembre - 10 de enero)

Excellent Holiday Accommodation

Great holiday accommodation, everything we needed and more. We loved our time staying her. Everything was perfect and the photos of the listing are accurate. We would definitely recommend this place and would love to come back and stay again.

Great Property on the Island

Good house for a large family or a group of friends. Fabulous views and close to Oneroa. Manager was a great communicator and we had everything we needed

Great hosts and accomodation to match! Amazing panoramic views almost 360 degrees from Auckland city to Barrier and Coromandel. Great outdoor and indoor living, be confident we’ll come again.

Birthday weekend

Myself and some friends stayed at Bayview Retreat to celebrate a birthday, and even though the weather was HORRIBLE we still had a lovely time. The house was just what we needed - a short walk to the bus stop, plenty of pots and pans for cooking, and a killer view. We would love to come back when there is some sunshine as this house would be amazing.

The property suited our needs well

The property suited our needs well. It was well equipped and the view is stunning. The beds were comfy and there was plenty of room. I agree with another review which stated that the bunks need attending to - the bottom bunk is sagging in the middle. I would not want a child sleeping there (we didn't use it). I would have thought this would be priority. Another minor comment - only two extra toilet rolls were supplied so we had to buy our own, which was a bit of a pain. Would give 4.5 stars.

Perfect location, could use a few extra basics

The views from this property are just as stunning as they look. The house had all of the basic requirements and was comfortable. If I was to be picky, although the sofa was comfy it would do with a clean. The upper bathroom didn't have a fan and opening the windows at night meant the mozzies came in. Some screens would be an easy fix. I would have appreciated milk in the fridge for a cuppa for arrival. The only issue we raised while there was the TV not working and Richard went out of his way to get it sorted for us. That was appreciated.

An awesome stay, despite the weather!

The house is well positioned with awesome views and is well equipped. There is a damp smell, mainly in the downstairs area, but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Great location

Great location Couldn't get television to work but that was probably a blessing Previous recycling hadn't been emptied so no choice but to stack recyclables in bags. Dirty BBQ and dirty tray in oven. However, despite these issues, we'd stay there again. A good time had by all.

Family getaway - 3 generations

We knew this property having rented it previously. The view is fantastic, an easy walk to little Oneroa and great space. It was a lovely break after a pretty tough year!

Wonderful views over Oneroa

Our family stayed for a week over the height of summer. Our kids loved the property with lawn out the back for games and the deck has amazing views. There was an issue with the TV and although Richard did try to solve that for us - we had a week without TV. It would have been good if there had been a handful of DVDs so we had the option to put something on for the kids (especially given there is no wifi). Next time we’d take some of our own. Well stocked kitchen and comfortable bedrooms.

Family holiday bliss

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in oneroa at Bayview Retreat this weekend. The weather really came to the party for us! We especially loved happy hour on the deck with the beautiful view, spacious lounge which was great for kids and comfortable and clean rooms. Bit of a walk to the beach (back home all uphill) but worth it once you're there. Can get a bit hot on the deck with no shade but was excellent for short stints outside in the sun. Will definitely stay again!

School holiday break

Property was excellent for grand parents with 5 grandchildren. I bedroom upstairs gave us some peace while cousins socialized downstairs

Amazing views & great open plan living.

Amazing views, lovely light filled rooms. All you can hear in the mornings is the birdlife. The open plan kitchen/living area was really easy going. We bbq’d quite a lot on the deck (photos don’t do the views justice) and the back garden was perfect for lounging around in under the trees. Our only concern was the bunk bed seemed a little precarious and possibly needs a little stabilizing / reinforcement. Overall a really easy and enjoyable place to stay, lots and lots of bookreading on the deck went down. Would definitely recommend.

It was the perfect place for a relaxing catch up with friends.Gorgeous house with beautiful views. Really generous rooms with comfortable beds and nice linen. There are various places to go sit outside and relax as well. The kitchen is large with everything that you may want if you are self catering. The property is an easy 20 minutes walk to Oneroa, where there are plenty of cafes, restaurants, shops (incl groceries). There is a frequent bus service as well. I'd love to come back one day!

This is an incredible property with the most stunning view of the island, great deck to hang out on, and a beautiful light feeling inside. Exceeded all expectations, and would be a great place for anyone to stay. I wish we stayed much longer!
