Torea, Muri frente a la playa

The Beach House es una elegante y moderna casa de un dormitorio.

Todas las ventanas están protegidas contra insectos y las ventanas que dan a la playa son de celosía, lo que permite que la agradable brisa del mar mantenga la casa fresca y ventilada.

La sala de estar de planta abierta es un excelente lugar para relajarse en el cómodo sofá y ver cómo entran los rompedores o tomar un café por la mañana en la mesa del comedor y ver el amanecer de un nuevo día. Extendiéndose desde la sala de estar a través de puertas correderas hay una amplia y generosa terraza frente a la laguna donde se puede cenar al aire libre en la mesa de comedor y las sillas proporcionadas. Quince metros más allá de esto, la playa de arena blanca atrae y vueltas de la laguna. Hay una cocina totalmente equipada, una lavadora automática y se proporcionan todas las sábanas y toallas para su estancia.

Dé un paseo por la playa de arena blanca hasta el corazón de Muri, donde hay varios restaurantes locales, cafeterías, tiendas de artesanías y tiendas de conveniencia. También en la playa se encuentran los deportes acuáticos del capitán Tama (al lado del restaurante Sails), donde puedes alquilar kayaks, windsurfistas y equipos de snorkel o organizar un crucero por la laguna.

Beautiful place, gorgeous views from the deck. Tidy and had everything we needed. A bonus second bathroom, and deck chairs to relax, enjoy the view, or step off the deck and snorkel the beautiful warm waters. Loved it, hope to return :)

Perfect cottage and location

We couldn’t have been happier with this rental. It was clean, spacious and on the beach. A washing machine in the rental was appreciated. The sunrise views were beautiful! Walking distance to many restaurants, spas and attractions. A very nice cultural museum close by. 15 minutes in one direction to the Muri Night Market, 20 minutes in the other direction to Charlie’s restaurant and the Maire Nui Botanical Garden. Communication with the manager was easy and helpful.

Little spot in paradise

The view from the deck is mesmerising, watching the waves break at the lagoon's coral edge. And wandering down the steps to the beach for a swim and some shell therapy. The bach is spacious and has got everything you need. Perfect little holiday get-away spot for the self-sufficient traveller.

A sweet beachside bungalow on the edge of Muri Beach.

Eddie's place on Muri Beach had everything we were looking for. Great snorkeling, a sweet spacious space with all amenities, including towels and soap, coffee and tea. It was clean and close to dining and resorts, Muri Night Market, and other snorkeling spots (outside of Muri Beach). We appreciated the land line which allowed us to make local calls for taxi hires and to make inquiries about tours. Per Eddie's recommendation, we bought data for our devices for wifi, which we had no problem setting up.

Relaxing getaway

We were looking for a private relaxing getaway that was clean, comfortable and close to the beach. This property met all those 100% and was in a great location too. Highly recommended if you want to escape the hustle and bustle. Great communications and we will definitely look forward to coming back again. Can also highly recommend Marie at Recharge massages up the road about 300m.

The only thing missing are binoculars!

We loved our stay here. We came as a group of 14 to Rarotonga, and while the others opted with resorts nearby, we decided to stay here and do not regret it! While we missed out on things like free bikes, kayaks etc, we did not miss out on views, or whales! We wished we had binoculars - it's something you need to bring if you're coming during whale season. You can see them from the kitchen (and of course, the deck). There's a small convenience store across the road (1 min walk), and it's close to all the Muri Beach hot spots. Great snorkelling right outside the house, I swum with turtles! So cool! Highly recommend. There was no need for us to contact Eddie during our stay. It was a blissful 10 days unconnected to the outside world, digitally.

Loved our stay at Torea. Eddie was a great host, the house was spacious and the perfect location with views to die for. We also loved this part of the island with places to eat, drink and snorkel all within walking distance. We will be back...

Great value beachfront

What a great beachfront property! Close enough to Muri beach and amenities for an easy stroll, but just far enough to be very peaceful. Literally out of the back ranch slider, off the deck and you're at the steps down to the sand. The backdrop is lagoon and the sound of waves breaking on the reef. Yes, it's not the poshest place you'll ever stay, but we thought great value - we've rented NZ baches that are far worse but cost considerably more. Spacious with a full lounge/dining area, well-stocked kitchen, washing machine etc, 2 decent bathrooms with one en-suite to the bedroom. You get a full house for 2 rather than being crammed into a standard resort apartment. Filtered water supply (safe drinking), chairs/recliners/table on the blissful covered deck overlooking the lagoon, even a few reef shoes, masks/snorkels etc if you forget to bring your own, though Muri is close enough to wander over and rent gear. All windows have secure mozzie nets, a huge plus. 3 other properties on the section but you really don't feel crowded and have lots of space. Great communication with Eddie, but we didn't need to contact him at all once we were there - Torea had everything. It's a 15 min walk West to Charlie's bar over the lagoon, and next door to Muri on the East - perfect positioning. A quiet resort is right next door if you want a bar etc. Easy walk down the road into Muri for shops, supplies, bars/restaurants/cafes/resorts etc. Loved it, would book again happily. Meitaki maata.

Perfect view

The view from the back patio is amazing. Nice walk to snorkling, bars and restaurants. House had everything we needed. Eddie got us some extra microwave bowls. Had a wonderful time. Loved the hermit crabs. Thank you so much. Would recommend to anyone

Great!

This is a wonderful place to stay! Very comfortable, well insect-screened, close to local shops, and a beautiful view. Snorkelling to see small coloured fish out the front of the property, and a 10 min walk along the beach to Fruits of Muri with bigger fish and a greater variety… Just loved my stay, and will be back!

This was our third stay at Torea Beach House and it was as good as ever! Just out of central Muri, the location is perfect and everything we need is within walking distance. Property Manager Eddie is lovely and if there is an issue deals he with it promptly. We highly recommend Torea!

Beachfront bliss

Super easy to rent this property. Host answered all my questions and the listing was exactly as advertised. Absolute beachfront and fantastic snorkeling at the door.If you like a bit of quiet this is the spot.

Perfect location just outside Muri main village. An easy 10 min walk along the beach or road into Muri. situated right on the beach, humpback whales breaching in the distance, great deck, large accommodation for one bedroom. also just 10 minute walk to Fruits of Raro best snorkelling spot on the island. Well set up accommodation with everything you need.

Loved our stay on Rarotonga and we were pleased with the amenities offered at Eddie's place. The cabin has everything you need to enjoy your vacation and Eddie was great to deal with. This is a large unit and the washing machine, safe, screens and 2 bathrooms were a bonus. Beautiful view from the deck, however we were disappointed that you can't swim out front in the lagoon due to poor water quality. Great restaurants and stores within walking distance and fabulous snorkeling on the West side of the Island. Thank you Eddie!

Hard to Fault

This is the perfect place for a couple. We have stayed at Torea Beach House twice now and would definitely stay again. It is presented beautifully - very clean, fresh and tasteful with everything you need. Close to convenience stores and places to dine out if you wish. The location and outlook is stunning. Property manager Eddie was easily contacted when we had an issue with hot water and sorted the problem straight away. Highly recommended!

Great location

Well appointed, spacious and comfortable. Supreme location, absolute beach front. Handy to Muri with activities, night markets, etc Eddie was really easy to deal with and attentive. Highly recommended. As elsewhere, inside Muri lagoon swimming is a little restricted, especially at low tides, but not really a big issue.
