Fabulous location by the best spot for a dip or snorkel, rental cars 200meters away, a water station 100 meters away, great coffee and local shop a few minutes walk. With a couple of restaurants 300 meters walk along the beach. Just wonderful

The location was amazing just on the beach pop down for morning coffee or wonderful sunsets. We swam, snorkeld, and the guys fished in the lagoon..The house had everything we needed.And Sylvia' and Angela were very friendly and great to deal with. Definitely go back..Nz. Taupo

The property was situated perfectly on the beach within easy reach of a number of bars and restaurants. Exactly as described. If you don’t like roosters bring some earplugs!

Perfect place for us

We were just delighted with our accommodation and holiday!- so excited to find property right on beach and we made the most of the privilege, swimming circuits in the lagoon. We made friends with the dogs and chook families. Thanks to Angela and Sylvia

Raro paradise

Awesome stay on a beautiful part of the island. Great access to the beach and comfortable, spacious amenities. Had lots of visits from the local dogs and the roosters prevent any long sleeping but it's all part of the Raro charm. Thanks for a great stay.

Fantastic stay

We loved this place from the moment we arrived. It was bigger than we thought so was so much nicer than staying in a small hotel room. The outdoor area was lovely and seconds to the beach. We took the loungers down each night to watch the sunset. Highly recommend this property.

Homey

Large, 2 bedroom home on the beach. It has been the home of a local person for a while so it has that homey, lived-in feel. It is well equipped with all the appliances you could need. Off street parking and large yard. Relatively close to airport and shopping. I've seen previous reviews that complained by barking dogs but I didn't find that to be a problem. There are 2 dogs next door that bark with noise and strangers but they quiet right down. It's a place that I would stay in again.

Amazing Holiday 😊😁

We all had an amazing holiday!! We loved the neighbourhood dogs they were so friendly the kids enjoyed seeing them everyday😊😊😆 The Bach had so much room & chill out areas. Located right on the beach with the lagoon right at our doorstep! The night markets were brilliant & snorkeling etc... can’t wait to come back again . Thanks Sylvia 👍

Beautiful family home on the beach with beautiful sunsets and snorkeling beach out the front.

This place was exactly like the pictures and did not disappoint. The spectacular views of the water all day and sunsets at night were amazing. Was well off the road down a driveway and great for children. It has a large lawn and outdoor space for getting out of the sun during the hot part of the day and great for having dinner and relaxing listening to the waves at night. The location was great with restraunts and shops within 1km either way. Would stay again and looking forward to planning another trip in the future. Thank you Sylvia for the experience. For me and my family as a first timers overseas the whole process of renting this property was very easy and stressfree which made the trip even better. Would definately use bookabatch next time we venture out. Thank you again.

Everything we needed to have a relaxing holiday on Rarotonga

Sylvia - Thanks for allowing us to stay in your home in Rarotonga. We received great instructions so it was easy to find (even in the dark after our late arrival). Everything we needed to have a relaxed stay was there. Chilled bottled water on arrival was great touch. We filled the cupboards and large fridge with supermarket food and cooked meals most of our week with exception of Island Night and a dinner out at nearby resorts. It was fantastic to be able to cook, and eat meals under the veranda every breakfast lunch and dinner to our own timetable. There are sun loungers which we used as the weather was hot and sunny. And the outdoor shower to clean the sand off was a bonus. The highlight for us was the few steps from the front steps to the beach and lagoon. The best bit of the beach is right out front with sandy lagoon perfect for swimming and cooling off. The sunsets were different everynight. We were visited by the neighbourhood hens and dogs who joined us in the shade of the coconut trees everyday. While they seemed friendly, be aware the dogs came and went on their own so if dogs arent for you then this home may not be for you. Also the bird life rises early each morning so if you are a light sleeper take earplugs as sleeping with open windows lets in the neighbourhood sounds :-) The home is cool and restful with slatted windows and fans to help keep temperatures pleasant. Everything was clean and ready to use so we were able to relax and start our holiday as soon as we arrived. Some family photos on the walls encouraged us to build our own family memories while staying in the home. Thank you Sylvia for allowing us to stay in your home. Recommended for those who want a relaxing do it yourself beach holiday in Rarotonga.
