Completely remodel 2 story 1890 home with fantastic ocean and light house views. Up stairs is two bedrooms. Each bedroom has a queen bed and TV with internet services. Two bathrooms upstairs. One with tub, one with shower. Kitchen has granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances . Living room has 65" TV with internet services, couch, love seat, two swivel rockers. Panoramic ocean view from inside house or off large deck. Sit and watch the whales (seasonal). Or the winter storm waves crash over the rocks of light house. Downstairs has one bedroom with twin beds, ocean view, laundry facilities, playroom and half bathroom. BBQer on site. Access to the beach with a spiral staircase just 100 feet out the front door. This home has stairs to entrance and exits. Not wheelchair friendly! No pets or service/ companion animals or smoking on the property. No exceptions! The kitchen had everything we could ever think of needing. The view was spectacular even given the Christmas Day storm. The beds were comfortable, so much room in the house overall. Enjoyed the beach. A fantastic stay we would like to repeat!

The pictures did not due the home justice. It was an amazing place to share with our family from North Carolina. Viewing the famed lighthouse from the living room window was a pleasant surprise Owner communication was swift. We hope to stay here again for a future family gathering.

The views were stunning, ate breakfast while watching the lighthouse. The house is cozy, warm and was perfect for a girls weekend. Loved the coffee bar and the electric blankets on the beds. Great location to the State Parks for hiking.

My husband and I had a wonderfully, peaceful visit. The light house view was amazing and it was a short walk across the street to a spectacular sunset! The house was beautiful and I loved seeing the before and after pictures in the coffee table book. They did an amazing job on the remodel. Although it was only my husband and I, you could easily come with another couple or a family. 5 stars for sure!

Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. The house had everything we could have needed and more. We appreciated the good communication with the owners too. We would not have made it to the light house for a tour if they had not shared the schedule. 100% would recommend this place to help make any vacation the best possible.

We had a great time at this property. Good location within Crescent City, easy access to the redwoods. Woke up to see otters and seals in the ocean with close coastal access. Great view of the lighthouse.

Beautiful home, great host!

The home is beautiful and has an amazing view. The walk to the beach is just across the street, and it's also easy to walk to the lighthouse. The basement ceiling is low, but it was still perfect for my teen kids. There was plenty of space for 4 adults and 2 teens. The furniture and beds were comfy, and we felt right at home. During our stay we were evacuated due to a tsunami warning. It turned out to be very minor; however, the host invited us to just come stay at their home in a safer area. They were so kind and accommodating!! Would stay here again if we ever had a chance.

Our first experience to the pacific and the redwoods and this house met all our needs and more. Excellent location and easy access to the beach, house had everything we needed from laundry detergent to hangers to books to read! We had great communication with the host (which gave great information before and during our time there). Very clean and inviting house. Great great view!!! Had board games available for down time. Had a basement for the kids to hang out downstairs and adults upstairs. Easy walkable distance to the light house at low tide take a tour very interesting! I would book this house again in a heart beat. Loved every minute of our time there. Thank you for being such great host!!!!

Perfect Ocean/Redwoods location

The hosts thought of everything a family might need to comfortably stay. After a long drive up from San Francisco, and a quick side trip to Sonoma, our group was tired. What a delight to have the house stocked with morning basics and everything just spotless and welcoming. The ocean was steps away and the children loved the tidepools. The host even touched base to make sure we had the tide schedule to make it over and back from the lighthouse. It was the perfect location to explore the area and all it has to offer.

Booked the Seaside rental for a week, chose after looking over the photos and information. Beautiful home, and excellent location! The hosts were very friendly, they messaged us to make sure all was going well, and to make sure we did not need anything. Mark even suggested in our travels to check out Arch Rock in Brookings OR, thank you Mark!! Very clean, relaxing home with beautiful views! So far, the BEST home we've booked, would love to return. Would rate more than 5 stars if we could.

Beautiful home, gorgeous views

We loved this house. Although we only stayed for 2 nights, it offered every comfort and amenity we could possibly need or want. We were in the area to visit Redwoods NP. If we’d had more time, I would have taken advantage of the beach access across the street and explored. The owners were so friendly and responsive. There’s a guest book in the house which offered some great ideas for activities others have done when visiting the area. The home has been redone from top to bottom and the quality and finishes are very well done. We would definitely come again and recommend this house to anyone looking in the area.

We ( my husband , myself with Mother and father n law) bought the property late in Sept of 2018. The four of us have flipped a few houses together in the past. This was a big undertaking for us. Mark was still working and so was Jim. Louise and I are both retired. Mark has since retired in January of 2020 and we opened the house up as Vacation Rental in July of 2020. Jim still is working as a realtor

As they say, location, location, location, this house had all three. They only thing keeping us from moving in was we would all four be living there together and Its not big enough for us all.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

We are located in a very quite neighborhood with access to the beach very close. Unobstructed panoramic views. The house was build up so this gives height to looking out over us and the ocean bluff.
