Very nice property. The beds were very comfortable. Linens and towels were clean and fresh. Super kid friendly with lots of board games. Highly recommend!

There were four friends in our 50’s staying in the house and it was perfect for everyone to have their own space and the downstairs was for gathering. The kitchen is very well appointed with just about every gadget and appliance you can think of. The street noise could bother some, but I just turned on some white noise and slept soundly. The beds/ bedding was very comfortable. Centrally located to stores and a coffee shop, with lots of sidewalks for safely walking after dinner. It was a great place to stay!

We were only there one evening…everything was well stocked, we enjoyed the coffee in the morning! We all watched tv together in the evening…large couch accommodated all of us! Beds were ver clean and comfortable!

House location to Redwood activities was perfect. Clean, spacious, and a very comfortable stay for our family of 4 with older children. However, there is NO heated pool. The listing "heated pool" is the local community pool, and there is no free admission for that. Also, walking distance to the beach is not really great. We opted to drive to Pebble Beach instead of walk. It's a neat beach. Home is near the grocery store, which was helpful. It's literally in the middle of 101, so be prepared for traffic noise.
Big kitchen table allowed us to spread out a puzzle and enjoy meals together. Well stocked kitchen.
Spacious living room. TV took some navigating.

I'm glad you enjoyed your stay and found the home Clean and the location perfect for Redwood adventures! The pool is listed as a community pool, and not advertised as a private pool. To have accomodations in Crescent City with a heated pool, would put your stay and a completely different price point and out of reach for many. I try to make my home affordable and comfortable for most. The house is a mile away from Pebble Beach, but it's only 5 blocks from Beach Front Park which is very walkable. Overall I'm glad you enjoyed your stay. I try to provide 5 star experiences to all guests and at a price point that is more affordable than many of the other homes.

The house was spacious and clean. It was well stocked with everything we needed, including linens, snacks, and kitchen basics. We enjoyed the proximity to the Redwoods National Park. The host was communicative and helpful. I highly recommend this home if you’re visiting Crescent City!

The host was very responsive when we had an issue with one of the toilets. Unfortunately it wasn't able to be resolved during our stay. Host left Halloween goodies for us, and snacks. Very pleasant stay! Would definitely stay again if ever in the area

Great stay

We travel to Crescent City often to visit friends who moved there. This property was in a great location to walk and get food. The kids and teens loved the video games, board games and outside games provided as well. We all had a great time!

My three friends and I have been doing an annual guys trip for years. We started using Vrbo properties almost 10 years ago. We stay in 3 to 4 properties each year and this house is in all our top 5s. The house was clean and comfortable. The private back yard/deck are great for hanging around the house and the location had several places within walking distance to get food. If I’m ever in Crescent City again I will be looking to book this house

I am from Sacramento area, and work in Social Services. After visiting the area, I fell in love with Crescent City and its scenic ocean views, clean rivers, and majestic redwoods. Its a welcome escape from the hustle of the city.

It has been a true blessing to own such a property. They say your not supposed to fall in love with a home when looking, but I did, with all of its hidden nooks, crannies, and vintage charm.
It truly has all the character and craftsmanship of a vintage home, yet felt surprisingly up to date, thus the name, The Modern Vintage. After making even more upgrades and modernizing the décor and amenities, it is truly my pleasure to share this home with you.

Just a short stroll to the ocean where you can see historic Battery Point Light House, hunt for Agate, fish for crab, explore tide pools, or just take in the beautiful scenery of the Pacific Coast. Located just 5 miles from Jedediah Smith State Park, hiking trails, and lush redwood groves that are the most scenic in existence. Getaway and stay at The Modern Vintage.
