Also available is the downstairs apartment, capable of accommodating a further 4 guests.
The Space: Beautifully renovated with attention to detail, the apartment is spacious and in the best location. Fully furnished and equipped for self-catering, 2 of the 3 bedrooms have their own ensuites. The apartment occupies the entire top floor of the old 'Bahr's Chololate Shop and Milk Bar' and takes in a beautiful elevated view of historic Battery Point. Enjoy a coffee in the north-facing sun room.
Each bedroom offers it's own tv and the apartment has wifi for your enjoyment.
Another rare offering in 'the village' is the off-street car park made available to you for the duration of your stay.
Immaculately presented and large enough for a family or group of couples to all have their own space.
There is also a 2 bedroom apartment downstairs - 'The Little Lollyshop Apartment' in case you require extra accommodation for a larger group.
Guest Access: You will have access to the entire apartment when you stay. Please note there is a staircase to access the apartment in case mobility issues are a concern.
The Neighborhood: Enjoy life on Hampden Road in beautiful Battery Point where you will find the best bakery 'Jackman & McRoss', amongst other pubs and establishments such as popular Pizzeria 'Da Angelos', 'Three Japanese' and 'Magic Curries'. Stroll into nearby Salamanca Place in under 5 minutes and you will encounter many more eateries, bars, galleries and famous Salamanca Market each Saturday.

Getting Around: Public transport is close by and Hobart also offers reliable taxis or Uber. The apartment is so central that the easiest way to commute is on foot. If you are planning a trip to the fabulous MONA, you can catch the ferry from Constitution Dock which is an easy 5-10 minute walk.

The property offered everything we needed for a lovely stay. The decor was contemporary and comfortable, the location was excellent.Comfortable beds in spacious bedrooms with well appointed bathrooms.We would highly recommend this apartment.

Excellent location, comfortable clean beds 2/3 with ensuite plus another great bathroom. Worked very well for three couples. Walked everywhere we wanted to go. Battery Point is so beautiful and has so many fantastic restaurants all within a short walk from the property. Keypad and lock box both problematic. Need fixing!!

Awesome welcoming very clean property. Bedrooms were very comfortable. Convenient off street parking. Excellent position within walking distance to Salamanca / Piers/ Food/ and bus stops. We would stay again.

Absolutely stunning. The Lollyshop apartment is well fitted out with three generous bedrooms , 2 en-suites and one main bathroom with a great kitchen and sunroom area which was great for early mornings. It’s just a short walk to Jackman and McRoss (a must visit bakery), and both the prince of Wales and Shipwrights Arms hotels. A beautiful part of Hobart to stay in at fantastic accommodation.

Apartment was lovely and clean and spacious. Narrow staircase to the apartment is difficult to navigate - especially with heavy suitcases, luggage, shopping, etc. Staircase should be replaced with a one-level Lift. Pizza shop below is very noisy and working until late at night, then cleaning up after the shop shuts and their telephone a be heard ringing with phone orders throughout the night.

Great set up for 3 couples
Great to have 3 queen bedrooms with 3 bathrooms. Comfortable beds and stylish facilities. Front bedroom is a little noisy with street noise and dining area is tight for six adults. Great kitchen for cooking in. Right in the middle of Battery Point and an easy walk to most attractions.

We loved our stay in the Lollishop Apartment 2. Very comfortable with three bedrooms and three bathrooms and a well equipped kitchen .Fantastic location ,we walked to the Mona Ferry about a 15 minute walk and the Red Hop on Hop Off Bus was close by as well for a day trip around Hobart. Great bakery a few doors down from the Apartment was a treat great coffee cakes and breakfast and Da Angelos pizza pasta restaurant is also close by . My only negative but it didnt really bother us would be the traffic noise

This a really spacious, light-filled and comfortable apartment with three big bedrooms and generous bathrooms. The steps up to the apartment are reasonably steep so need to treated with caution. A bit of noise penetrates from the pizza place below and from road traffic, but it is very quiet from 10pm (11 pm on Friday and Saturday). It is located in a beautiful area of Hobart close to a bakery/patisserie, cafes and restaurants, just 10mins walk from Salamanca Place. I would be so very disappointed if I could not stay here again the next time I am in Hobart.

It is even better than the photos show. We stayed in mid-July. The location is perfect, with multiple cafes and restaurants just down the street, and Salamanca Markets an easy 5-7 min walk away. The view of the city from the north facing kitchen windows is gorgeous day or night and the winter sunlight came streaming in. The apartment was toasty and warm once the radiators heated it up. Three big bedrooms, with comfy beds and plenty of doonas and three full bathrooms that were beautifully renovated and immaculately clean, including one with a bathtub. Access was easy with the electronic code and a manual key safe as back-up.

Clean and comfortable. Great location. Needs some maintenance though as couches were frayed and had holes and seen better days, also needing more seating in lounge, the apartment caters for 6 people but only two couches which comfortably seats 4 people..

I WILL NEVER USE STAYZ AGAIN.It is totally unacceptable in this age of computer fraud that Stayz is unable to provide a secure platform for payments and requires users to make payments via an unknown third party platform. This uncertainty is made more annoying by then being charged a fee by the third party platform for making the required payment!!The second annoying thing with Stayz is the use of a 'bot' when communicating with the booking. It renders the interaction totally meaningless. I dont need to be offered my booking for a day earlier multiple times, but not recdeiving any meaningful response to a genuine enquiry.As for the Lollyshop Apartment, it was very good. Great location. Comfortable bedrooms and bathrooms.
