Jandals - lindo kiwi bach

Jandals - un bach kiwi original con ubicación y vistas que será la envidia de muchos! Esto está de vacaciones de playa en su mejor momento! Esto es lo que se usa para estar en el sonido de las olas, el olor a sal y solo caminar a la playa en 30 segundos.

Esta encantadora casa pequeña tiene 3 dormitorios, pero tenga en cuenta que dos están en la planta baja sin acceso interno, pero hay un segundo baño adjunto. Tenga en cuenta que la cocina solo tiene un horno y una encimera pequeños de sobremesa, ¡pero de lo que se trata el verano en la barbacoa!

Las impresionantes vistas desde la casa son casi inmejorables y no se puede acercar mucho más a la playa, ¡y ciertamente no a este precio! Si desea experimentar unas verdaderas vacaciones en la playa de Kiwi como solíamos hacerlo en generaciones pasadas, aquí está, pero no se preocupe, la casa está muy limpia y ordenada, así que no deje que su edad lo desanime.

También hay un kayak doble de usar, así.

Mangawhai es el destino de vacaciones de verano perfecto o retiro costero. Con sus hermosas playas para nadar y practicar surf y su abundante vida marina, Mangawhai es un lugar popular para practicar vela, pesca, surf, buceo y diversión familiar en verano. Las aguas cristalinas del estuario brindan seguridad para nadar en familia, y las playas aisladas de arena blanca de Te Ari y Pakari están a poca distancia en automóvil.

Disfrute de la vibrante escena artística y de cafés, el mercado local de agricultores y la famosa tienda de chocolate Bennetts. Great location but property needs some maintainance

We knew this was an old kiwi batch when we booked and this was reflected in the price. There are however a few basics that need some attention. The set up worked well for us with kids down stairs with their own bathroom. Nice view from deck and nice and close to main beach and inner harbour beach. We had some issues with toilets and tap plumbing but was attended to by property manager very quickly, they were very good to deal with. A few other things need some attention by owner including tv (worked periodically) , general taps were old, leaky and need replacing with new mixes, toilet upstairs needs replacing, upstairs shower walls were rotten and imagine leaking inside the walls, some attention to the deck areas, felt soft and possible rotten in some spots , bbq only had 3 of 4 burners working and with no oven we relied heaviliy on this for cooking. Main path is quite steep and uneven, not great for older people. Quite a busy rd with traffic to surf club but imagine this will be limited to peek times. None of the above really effected us from having a great stay...we hit the jackpot with the weather

Great Kiwi bach close to the beach

We had a lovely time enjoying the deck, walking the beach and catching up with friends. The house is big enough for two families.

Great location Great views

Great little place with a lovely outlook close to Surf Beach . Accomodation a little tired but comfortable.. Misleading photos as it looks much bigger than it actually is . Bedroom downstairs is comfy but you have to use the outside stairs to get to it . When it’s raining you need your brolly ! 2 bathrooms were handy Enjoyed our stay .

Thanks for your feedback. It is photographed as is, like all our properties and we do say it is small in the listing, so sorry if this came as a surprise but not sure what more we could do. It also does clearly state in the description that there is no internal access to downstairs as we want guests to be aware.

Great location and view Bach a little tired, could not lock doors, no washing machine for use, some windows were not able to be opened and Bach wasn’t very clean. Overall an okay stay.

I am sorry you only found your stay OK but we would have been more than happy to help address the issues at the time if you contacted us, as we are there to help. We weren't aware of the lock issue but I have checked that out and it only took a couple of minutes to fix the top lock which wasn't engaging properly. I also followed up with the contract cleaner but without specifics it is a bit hard to address, possibly it is also because it is an older back. There is no washing machine but the property isn't listed as having one, if that is important to you then you are best to check out the amenities list for properties as that clearly shows whether a property has a washing machine or not and so that won't be an issue for you in the future. Lastly, it is an older bach and we advertise it as this accordingly but it is in a fantastic location and we have lots of repeat guests that love it.

Great spot!

A short walk from the beach, Jandels bach is beautifully located and a cosy spot. Great for a smaller family getaway. The deck and BBQ area are excellent with a good view of the sea - to the host, we'd highly recommend installing an outdoor light to help guests enjoy the deck area after dark. Overall, a good spot for a relaxing getaway

Great location

Jandals is a typical kiwi Bach, it’s not a flash set up but is in a great location so close to the beach. It could do with a bit of maintenance as lots of light bulbs were blown and the duvet covers needed a wash. No tea or coffee so bring everything you need .

Thanks for your feedback and we will check out the points you have raised around the duvets (the contract cleaners do keep an eye on these but may have missed something). We will check what light bulbs need replacing so we can get them sorted for future guests.

Character kiwi bach. Relaxing holiday.

Great location close to the Heads and estuary swimming. Character bach with adequate facilities for our 4 night stay. Clean with a comfortable bed with a beautiful view across to the spit and all the way down to Te Arai. We loved lying out on the deck on comfy deck chairs in the afternoon sun. A bonus to be able to have our dog with us. A lazy walk across the road to swim on the estuary. Or Devine morning walk with the dog down Mangawhai Heads beach and back. Great coffee up on the reserve to start the day. Host welcome was friendly and informative. Had a very relaxing time. Thankyou.

Jandals is a great property located so close to the Surf Beach and Picnic Bay.

Jandals is a great property located so close to the Surf Beach and Picnic Bay. It has beautiful views from the deck and a really traditional bach atmosphere. The bach is equipped with everything you need for a wonderful holiday including a most extensive range of coffee plungers and platters ( great for entertaining). Two bathrooms was handy and the showers are fine. Perfect little spot for a long weekend away.

The location of th Bach was fantastic! Just 200m from th beach exactly what we were after 5mins to thshops n other amenities too th small tank wasn't problem as we've lived on tank water before the small stove and no washing machine wasn't a major it's what beaching is all about!??
