Seacoast Sanctuary is a brand new, high end holiday home in the gated 'Heads' subdivision by Mangawhai's popular surf beach. It is hard to find a better location when you can be so close to the action but can retire to this peaceful sanctuary. It is just a short walk to both the surf beach and Picnic Bay (estuary) and there is nearby access to the Goldschmidt Panoramic walking track and the renowned Clifftop walkway featuring breathtaking views towards Te Arai and Leigh.
The 3 bedroom 2 bathroom house has been set up purely for guests and every detail has been well thought out for your enjoyment. The kitchen has high end appliances and a Nespresso and the walk in scullery ensures there is plenty of room for storage and prep. The open plan living area has a large screen TV with Netflix and Lightbox (bring your own accounts) and a bluetooth soundbar for your audio enjoyment. The living flows onto an expansive covered deck with views to the ocean and Little Barrier and there is Weber BBQ so you can cook up a storm while enjoying the view.
Set up for summer or winter stays with ceiling fans in each bedroom and a gas fire place and heat pump/air con unit, this is a great holiday home in a great location. Come and experience it for yourself, you won't be disappointed.
Please note the following:
1. The gated environment is a relaxing environment and guests must be respectful of our neighbours, some of whom are permanent residents. Loud music or any noise that could disturb neighbours is not permitted and there is no smoking within the gated area.
2. There is now a house next door on what was previously a vacant section, as shown in a couple of the photos of the exterior of the house.
LINEN: For this property one set of linen (sheets, pillowcases, towels, hand towels, bath mats and tea towels) is included as part of the Cleaning Fee, just bring your beach towels. If you are staying longer and want additional linen changes/cleaning, this can be arranged for an additional fee.
BOOKING PAYMENT: Although your credit card details are taken during the booking process, we won't automatically charge your credit card. Once your booking is approved we will send you a payment email with a choice of credit card payment (a 3% surcharge applies) or bank transfer (no charges).
Mangawhai is the perfect summer holiday destination or coastal retreat. With its beautiful swimming and surf beaches and abundant marine life, Mangawhai is a popular spot for sailing, fishing, surfing, diving and summer family fun. The clear waters of the estuary provide safe family swimming, and the secluded white sand beaches of Te Ari and Pakari are a short drive away.
