ILIKAI BUILDING NOTICE:
Spalling repairs and full exterior painting of the building in effect. Please be advised: Balcony access for this unit/stack (Phase 4) will be restricted from approximately June 2026, to August 2026, during work hours (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM). These dates are subject to change due to weather conditions or unforeseen delays. Please also be aware that noise disturbances may occur throughout the duration of this project.

Since another guest may check out the same day you arrive, to guarantee an early Check-In, reserve the condo for the night prior to arrival.

Family Vacation

Nice property, great location, good amenities on site. Only complaint is that the rental needs a new toaster. Every time it got hot it triggered the GFCI and turned off.

Enjoyable experience

Great location, close to Ala Moana Mall, walking distance to Waikiki, surrounded by great restaurants and shops, beautiful balcony view. Close to bike and car rentals. This all helped to give an enjoyable and relaxing experience

Great location, quiet place with a wonderful view. Close to everything, yet felt like we were on the "quieter" end of the beach which was perfect. Lots of space for our family of 4.

Great views

This is a nice unit with easy access to the beach and amazing view of the fireworks. The only issue was there’s only one blanket for three beds. Plenty of sheets but no blankets. Also the couch could use replacing or at least a good cleaning. Unit also included all beach gear!!!! Towels, beach chairs, boogie board etc.

Great location great room

Location is close to restaurants, good shopping and other facilities in hotel. Turtles seen right in the beach. The dishwasher broke during our stay and someone came quickly to fit it for us. Only weird thing is that the two bedrooms have a wall just there is a space where the glass sliding patio door goes that makes the rooms connected. It’s small and does not interfere with privacy just noise.

Decent Place to Stay in Waikiki

July at Ilikai

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our stay at the Ilikai was pleasant. The accommodation was nice and a good place to call home for our week in July. The hotel and property are older, although remodeled there are still older features like the sliding glass doors and elevators. We did see elevator maintenance workers at least three times. Escalators from valet area to main lobby were out of order all but one day of our stay. The property had everything we needed! Kitchen was well equipped, there was beach equipment - chairs, towels, boogie boards, ice chest and umbrellas. There were extra folding chairs, pillows and blankets. Having a washer/dryer in unit was also helpful. Lots of fans and great air conditioner! Property has been updated inside. Few items need further updating like the backside of the tattered black out drapes and the repair sheet rock replacement holes in the ceiling. Toto toilet controls were also not working during our stay. Love how close it was to the lagoon and the beach. Not a lot of restaurant options too close. There is a hotel restaurant and yummy ice cream and coffee shop on property. Ala Moana shopping mall is close enough to walk, it’s a bit of a trek though, not just across the street. We did walk down (20-25 minutes) to the bustling restaurant shopping area. You can walk on beach or through streets. There are two ABC stores close by. Valet parking was $45/day. They got the car quickly when needed with the exception of check out times of mornings, it was busy then and took about 10 minutes to get car. Price was comparable to other hotels in area. Overall this was a nice place to call home for the week with great views and a zen vibe. Enjoyed being just outside of the business of Waikiki. Would stay again.

With being a penthouse the balcony is not large enough to sit outside. Probably time for some repainting but totally worth the cost. Very convenient. Able to find parking close for less than the $45+ hotel parking fees. Easy walk to beach, stores & restaurants. Rental company very quick to respond.

Using the Penthouse is not always the best.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We've stayed at the Ilikai a few times now, and always like the location near the marina, lagoon and the ocean. This time, we went for the Penthouse which was a great condo, except that there is no real balcony to sit out on and look at the water. Every other time we stayed there, we were able to sit out and drink coffee in the morning and maybe a drink at night and look out.Add the oceans and things. Other than that, it was a very nice condo, very well equipped, very clean and a nice location.
