Beautiful updated home with 100’ on Portage Lake - 20 minutes to Arcadia Bluffs

Completely renovated lake front home on beautiful Portage Lake with spectacular sunset views! We have spared nothing! Portage Lake has unique channel access to Lake Michigan, and our home is minutes away from the Onekama marina. We have 100' of private lake frontage, and expansive views of the lake. Located on a quiet street, this location is ideal for your family. This cottage has 3 bedrooms and can sleep up to 8. Two bedrooms offer stunning lakefront views with queen beds. The third bedroom is a bunk room with 2 bunk beds, and can sleep 4.

Each bathroom has been completely renovated, complete with fresh new towels and fixtures. Bathroom 1 has bathtub/shower and bathroom 2 has walk in shower with bluetooth speaker that can sync with your phone.

Our beautiful kitchen has quartz countertops, all new appliances, and every item you could possibly need to make your stay perfect! The drip coffee maker has a Keurig built in. A large custom table has seating for your entire group, and is the perfect space for meals and games together.

There is a brand new washer and dryer, dishwasher, Smart TV, WiFi, and keyless entry.

We've thought of everything you might need during your vacation including lots of family games, lawn games, several life jackets for adults and kids, 3 stand up paddle boards, 2 single kayaks, 1 tandem kayak, fishing poles, beach towels, Weber grill, Solo stove for bonfires, outside tables, and more.

The location is absolutely perfect! Just off M22 (most scenic road in northern Michigan and gateway to northern MI), we are a short drive to everything.

The location on the lake was absolutely perfect, we thoroughly enjoyed the great fishing, relaxing on the dock/easy access into the water, sunsets and the close proximity to restaurants and attractions. 10/10!! Beautiful, clean home!The owners communication made everything seamless, and we really appreciate how easy they made our stay. My family and I can’t wait to go back next year for another amazing experience!

Just as advertised! Comfortable, beautifully decorated, lake house. Well appointed with plenty of nice bath and beach towels, dishes, kitchen appliances, grill, indoor and outdoor family games, and watercraft! Family enjoyed them all! So relaxing to sit on the dock in the Adirondack chairs! Lots of priceless family fun! Owners very nice and responsive.

Updated home on a beautiful lake

We enjoyed our stay at this lake house. It's located on a quiet street. The lake is larger than I had expected. The water is clear by the dock. We enjoyed using the kayaks. The home is nicely decorated with comfortable furniture. The kitchen has everything you need. We would definitely stay here again.

Our family ranging in age from 60 to 5 had a great time. The house was the perfect size for us and the location was on a quiet street and convenient to Manistee and Onekama. The lake water is clear and fairly shallow around the dock for our grandkids to swim. The fishing was great too. The house is stocked with everything you need and there are lots of outdoor/lake toys (kayaks, inner tubes, life jackets, etc.). We’ll definitely be returning next summer!

A beautiful property with kind and thoughtful hosts- I would stay here again in a heartbeat. The view of the water is lovely and unobstructed, and the area is not loud or intrusive. We came for a friends weekend away and left feeling refreshed and wanting to return next year.

Outstanding Vacation on Portage Lake

Our family vacation at this cottage was fabulous. It was incredibly clean, updated, and great cottage decor. Perfect for our six adults and new grandbaby! Home was well stocked with everything we could need inside and out. Very peaceful. Loved the large deck and big yard along the lake for family gathering. Large dining table was awesome! Definitely coming back here again!

Portage Lake Fishing Trip

This house was such a beautiful place right on the lake. It was very well equipped, clean and comfortable. The sunsets were fantastic. We went there for a fishing trip and caught a lot of fish of all species. The owners were very pleasant and attentive. This was our second year and we plan on coming back next year.

Everything about our stay was great! Beautiful lake house! Hosts were great about checking in! Location was perfect. Fall was beautiful to look at the lake with all the colors of leaves chafing. Can’t wait to come back during some warm summer months and enjoy the lake.
