Lincoln’s loft speakeasy suite is a beautifully renovated street level apartment in downtown Lincoln Illinois that was completed in April 2019. With a hidden entrance behind a bookcase entry, Lincoln’s loft Speakeasy Suite is an experience in itself. This historically renovated space is a prime location for entertaining your group downtown. This unit has not only a bedroom downstairs with a queen size bed, but a loft equipped with 2 queen sized beds up the spiral staircase.

While they have no control over the major lightning storm that took place while we were there, they did provide a safe and cozy environment for us to watch the light storm as it boomed and lite up the sky overhead. We were able to open the hidden bookshelves and watch the light show from the store front window. The only advice I would give is come with an umbrella or rain coat for unexpected weather and a portable fan as it is humid and hot outside and in the loft in the summer.

Unique property

The property was very cool. Communication with the host was easy and check in was seamless. You should be aware that there is a train that goes by regularly and is quite noisy. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Great location

Great location! Summer months - 3rd Friday of the month, a family oriented block party with live music right outside your door. We really enjoyed this and it's over by 8:30 so not a disturbance at all! Kitchen could use a few more items such as mixing bowls and measuring cups. Also, the place could use a bit of deep cleaning. (Ceiling fan, cupboards above stove, and regular wipe down of washer/dryers.) We would definatly come back.

A cozy historic adventure

A gem in Downtown Lincoln

If you are traveling to Lincoln, IL for any reason, I would highly recommend staying at the Lincoln Lofts. They are a hidden gem in downtown Lincoln right off the town square. The units are immaculate, thoughtfully decorated, and stocked with everything you will need and more for your stay. Megan was a wonderful host and very responsive. My family and I will definitely be back!

Wonderful relaxing weekend stay

We stayed here for a long weekend. Property was very relaxing, all that it was described and more. Great location in town. Many things to do within walking distance....great cafe, coffee, italian food.

Great Spot

My only complaint is that some of the rowdier people that walk by can be heard all the way through the loft. Other than that, very clean, Roku tv with plenty to watch, very cool vibe, and very well done.

Such a cute place! We found it clean, comfy, and enjoyed walking around Lincoln. We felt safe and would definitely recommend for those looking for a weekend getaway in a quaint town. Bonus is that you can take the train and don't need a vehicle if you don't mind walking!

Darling Renovated Storefront

My husband and I recently stayed at this property for a 50th Class Reunion Weekend. Although it was only the two of us, we thought that this property would be excellent for small groups (family reunion, girls trip or family trip). The property is 100% as advertised. The check-in process was easy. It's a great option over a hotel room(s). It was a pleasure staying in a piece of Lincoln, IL history.

Cute, cozy place

This place was amazing! From the entry behind the bookcases to the renovation that was done! Its right off the town square and so there are some neat antiques shops around too. The beds were cozy and there were kitchen supplies for cooking there in the rental. I wish we had stayed longer! I higgly recomend this VRBO. Ive told all of my family and friends about it!

Quaint and cozy

Quaint and cozy, this space was perfect for our family. Rich historic feel throughout, as well as updated features. This is an older building, so it does smell musty when you first go in, but it does dissipate after a while. Located right in the middle of town.
