Pretty well equipped, spacious and comfortable.A few minor cleanliness issues, cooker door for example. Biggest issue lack of water pressure for shower and intermittent hot water.

The unit was fabulous and had everything we needed. Some improvements needed on the quality of the wifi and water pressure for the shower (takes a long time to heat up).

Very happy

Great stay; quiet, clean and comfortable. Modern facilities, full kitchen with breakfast bar, no dining table. Parking at rear good but a little bit tight to turn. Walk to shops, beach and ferry downhill. Friendly and helpful owner lives upstairs. It suited us well for our 4 night stay and we were overall very happy and would recommend.

Cozy, clean and quiet

My wife, her sister and I stayed here for a week. We were able to check in several hours early after our long flight. The property had adequate parking. Location provided easy access to the Half Moon Bay ferry terminal if you want to visit Waiheke Island. Grocery shopping was convenient. We would stay here again.

Somewhat disappointed:(

Whilst it was nice and appreciated that the room was available early in the day, I would have been happy to wait the extra hour if it meant the place was cleaned between occupants. The kitchen had grease and grime on the bench, sink taps and cupboard handles. Some dishes still had bits of food from the previous people. The property looked to have been vacuumed. The toilet was not cleaned and we arrived to flies on the dirty toilet seat. We texted the owner and asked if she could please bring some cleaning products down. She replied that we should use the window cleaner “does the same job”. The lack of cleaning products confirmed that the property had not been cleaned before we arrived. The shower also required attention. We bought our own cleaning products and she did offer to pay us back for them but we declined. Will not be staying there again unfortunately. Hopefully the next people have a better experience.

Great property, well located

This is a very nice property, located in a quiet area of Auckland. The apartment has everything one could want in a rental unit, modern, clean and comfortable. Lynn is an excellent host.

Place was clean and had all the amenities you could need. Lynn was a wonderful host. Different levels of firmness to choose from with beds from soft to firm.

Nice place

Was a nice place to stay for a short stay but not very private from drive as parking is right outside bedrooms and lounge windows . We were told parking for two cars but there wasn't even parking for our car as someone else was parked there when we turned up , they then had guests turn up at 10pm the second night which was not pleasant with the parking right next to our unit and curtains were not curtains they were more sun shades so headlights and loud people woke everyone after a already long day , its clean and tidy and out of the busy rat race but they could have been a bit clearer with other guests or sate when arriving that please be mindful of other guests if late and parking is shared with others .

This is a lovely modern, spacious, quiet place. The beds are warm and comfortable and the bathroom is equipped with all the mod cons. Great shower, with options for a roof shower head or a wall shower and lots of hot water. The toilet is a game changer and a nice refreshing treat after a long drive. Thank you :) My only negative is it could do with a thorough spring clean ie couch cover, couch, shower doors, dishes etc. Also extra towels a hand towel and face cloths would have been appreciated. We stayed 2 nights (3 people) and there were 3 towels and 2 facecloths, no hand towel. There is a washing machine but no dryer.

We had a lovely stay here thank you, nice and private and close to the beach and shops. On arrival the sliding door was open for access and there was a strong smell of cat spray so we kept the sliding door closed after that and burned incense but other than that everything else was great, we had everything we needed and appreciated being left to our own devices. Thank you Lynne!

Nice cosy modern accommodation in quiet neighbourhood

Comfortable accommodation for 3/4 people, nicely designed and convenient. Friendly host living in adjacent property but there is full privacy too. Good access to nearby ferries to town or easy drive.

Our technician had a great time and really enjoyed his stay here! Lynn takes great pride in her unit and has created a lovely place. Easy walking distance to the ferry to Waiheke or Auckland CBD, bus stop and some nice cafes and restaurants in Half Moon Bay. Ample parking within a secured fenced off area. Beautiful property, everything needed was in the unit and I shall look forward to booking accommodation with Lynn again!
