Wake up to stunning sunrises over Long Island Sound on your deck off the master bedroom or from the outdoor porch. Make your favorite cup of coffee in our modern eat-in kitchen with all the latest appliances.
Lounge on the beach and watch the submarines and ferries to Orient Point go by with sailboats and fishing boats. Shore bird watching is exciting as ospreys dive for their prey right in front of your eyes. The house is situated close to Ocean Beach Park, the Coast Guard Academy, Electric Boat and Niantic's Dominion power plant. Also nearby colleges, Mitchell College and Connecticut College. Also close to Mystic seaport and Rhode Island beaches and attractions such as Newport.
We are 2.5 miles from the New London Ferry that takes you to Block Island, Montauk Point, LI or Fisher's Island. Our house is located one block from Ocean Beach Park that offers miniature golf, a 1 mile long board walk, arcade, kiddie rides, playground, and waterslides. The house is a 5-minute drive to Harkness Memorial Park with beautiful floral gardens and picnic spots. The Coast Guard Academy is a 10 minute drive, Mitchell College is a 3 minute drive & Connecticut College is also a 10 minute drive . Newport RI is under 1 hour away. Mohegan Sun & Foxwoods Casino are 15 minutes away. Historic Mystic Seaport and Mystic Aquarium are also only 15 minutes away.
US Navy Submarine Museum & the Nautilus are 10 minutes away and great viewing for all ages. There are also many public tennis courts & golf courses. If you want just a relaxing vacation, just head to the beautiful beach at your doorstep and enjoy the scenery and ocean breeze.
