This spacious, family-friendly stay combines privacy and tranquillity with centrally located convenience, just a stroll to Cudgegong River and nearby parks and a few-minute drive from the heart of Mudgee. With thoughtfully appointed spaces to relax and entertain when you’re not exploring cafes, galleries and vineyards, fire up the BBQ and dine alfresco on the deck while you enjoy a glass of local wine and fresh country air, ending the day with a movie on the sofa in air-conditioned comfort.
‘Cudgegong House’ offers generous indoor and outdoor living perfect for families and groups, with an open-plan kitchen and dining area offering all you need to prepare a feast of fresh, local produce. Share meals around the six-seater table while additional seating is available at the breakfast bar, and make use of the dishwasher for easy clean-up. You can also enjoy a casual BBQ cook-up on the deck where alfresco seating overlooks the grassy, pet-friendly backyard.
After a day of sightseeing, unwind in the welcoming living area, complete with split system air conditioning and heating to ensure year-round comfort.
Four thoughtfully appointed bedrooms sleep eight guests, three including queen-size beds and one with double beds. All four rooms offer ceiling fans and built-in robes. The main bathroom includes a shower, modern vanity and complimentary toiletries, plus a bathtub where you can end the day with a leisurely soak.
Added conveniences include WiFi, a high chair, private laundry that includes a washing machine, a dryer and a second toilet, and off-street parking for two cars as well as free street parking 24/7.

You’ll be situated within a 10-minute stroll of Cudgegong River, as well as Apex and Moufarrige Parks which both offer playgrounds and space to picnic. Mudgee town centre is a few minutes’ drive, where you can explore the charming, tree-lined streets and discover shops, cafes, galleries and historic buildings all within an easy stroll. Opposite your stay are Lawson Park and Cudgegong River, while Roth’s Wine Bar is a few-minute walk for a delicious local drop. Renowned vineyards and restaurants within a 10-minute drive include Petersons Winery, Blue Wren Farm, and Slowfox Wines.
Due to local regulations, we can happily host you for up to 90 nights. Any bookings that exceed this duration will be cancelled by Vrbo.
