Picture waking up in the master bedroom of a quintessential Nantucket cottage facing the sunrise and harbor. Walk out the door and enjoy a morning coffee while enjoying your feet in the sand on the beach. This property is a rare find on Nantucket Island. It is one of the few houses located right on the beach, overlooking the harbor and boats, abutting a Land Bank property and is a very close walking distance (.25 miles) to town for shopping and restaurants.

Great stay on Nantucket

We were very happy with this home and would love to stay here again. The weather was wild and less than ideal during our stay, but we still had a great time. The home is in a very convenient location close to town. It’s a very easy walk to shops and restaurants around town. The harbor views are beautiful, and the home size was perfect for our group of five women. The homeowners are excellent communicators and were very helpful throughout our stay. The home was well-stocked, clean, and comfortable. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this home to others. Thanks for a great stay!

Truly, paradise on the harbor

The experience exceeded our expectations. The cottage and setting are even more spectacular in person. We enjoyed the gorgeous view of the harbor while also having just a short walk into town. It’s a rare and special location. It has a well-equipped kitchen, beach equipment, and easy TV system. It is beautifully furnished. The host communication was exceptional. We received timely and detailed answers to our questions, and expectations for staying at the property were clear. We were delighted and surprised by the lavish welcome package. This was a special family vacation, and we feel fortunate to have found such a lovely place to stay. We throughly enjoyed it.

Ideal Location and Great Property

Fantastic location very close to town yet on the water with great views. The home was in great condition and very comfortable to stay in (the welcome gift was a very nice touch). Between walking into town, or enjoying the views from inside and/or outside the house, or walking along the beach right out back, it made for a very relaxing vacation. The host was great. Not only easy to communicate with and quick to reply to any and all questions, but also very focused on our enjoying our stay. There was a significant rain event while we were there. To make sure the cushions for the outdoor furniture did not get soaked making them unusable, the host came to collect them and returned them early the day after the storm. If they hadn't confirmed with us in advance that we were okay with them stopping by, we would not have even know they were there! We are already looking forward to future visits. Highly recommend!

comfy, cozy home with amazing views

My family of 4 adults got the pleasure of staying here for our 5 days in Nantucket. We had some dreary days, but that was all the more reason to cuddle up on the couches and take in the magnificent view of the harbor. The home was very clean and the location couldn't have been better. We could easily walk in to town and bike to dinner. We all said we loved the home so much, it was truly a relaxing experience. Highly recommend staying here!

A perfect home in a perfect location on a idyllic island. Can’t beat it! We had such a wonderful time and the home suites our needs. There were four girls and we had plenty of space. It’s clean and updated and darling and the property manager is helpful and kind and understanding. We will be back!

Gorgeous view and convenient location to Town

The property is spectacular. Amazing view of the harbor 24/7. High end furniture, luxury appliances, soft quality linens, etc. made our stay very comfortable. The pictures in the listing don’t do the cottage justice. We adore Nantucket and loved being so close to Town, the wharf, restaurants, museums and shops. Definitely don’t need to rent a car but we ended up renting a jeep the last day and took it to the Great Point lighthouse and wildlife reserve. I highly recommend that excursion. We also enjoyed the Sconset Bluff Walk, exploring Madaket and a boat tour that took us to see Brant Ppint lighthouse. Absolutely fabulous accommodations, on such a magical and enchanting island.

Fall 2022

This property was amazing!!!! The location is convenient to walking in town and taking the bike paths all over the island. The home is decorated comfy coastal chic, had a fully stocked kitchen, super comfortable beds, fresh linens, a delicious smelling “signature scent” , and the owner George was too thoughtful with a welcome gift and fresh flowers. My Sisters and I loved our stay and will return to this lovely cottage again in our future visits to Nantucket.

Haven on the Harbour

We had an amazing stay at this property. No surprises -- everything was as described in the listing. Clean, comfortable, super location on the water, within walking distance of downtown with all the amenities you could ever want. The host was super responsive and great to provide all that was needed. Definitely would go back . 😊

Magical Nantucket beach cottage

We rented this special beachfront cottage for my 50th birthday. It felt like home and was outfitted with everything we needed. It was exceptionally clean and had an aromatherapy scent when we arrived. I am quite picky about the places we stay and how clean the bedding and sheets are. George’s attention to detail was phenomenal! He was very communicative and responsive the entire time asking us if we needed anything which was great! The location of the cottage is excellent! Walking distance to everything with an outstanding view of the harbor and beach right outside the sliding doors. The night we stayed in with our 21 year old twins was the coziest, comfy couches and pillows and room for everyone. We brought in a lobster feast from Sayles and watched a Disney movie:) Reliving the old days,, just perfect! We’ve been vacationing on Nantucket since 1998 and this by far was the best place we’ve rented. Highly recommend!

Perfect getaway

Six of us (three couples) stayed for the weekend and had a fabulous time. The house is exactly as described with very comfortable furniture and beds. It’s immaculately clean and had everything we could possibly need plus many special touches. The outside living space is amazing as well. The location is perfect with easy access to town and the bike paths. The host is responsive and eager to help. I can’t recommend this property enough.

Great property close to town with amazing views

Did a last minute rental for Easter weekend. The property was perfect for our group of four and feels larger than it is. Every detail was thoughtful from the furnishings and well-stocked amenities/water/snacks/coffee etc...Harbor views and 2 minute walk to town. Loved the stay. Will be back.

We are a family of five. We live and work on the island. We have lived here for over 30 years and our children were born and raised here. We purchased this property to enjoy during our retirement years, but in the meantime are so happy to be able to share with friends, family and visitors to the island. We hope you fall in love with our cottage and Nantucket like we have!! Our cottage is truly one of the few rentals of this kind on Nantucket - where being walking distance to town and being on the beach are all in one. There is no need for a car if you rent our cottage but there are 2 parking spots available. The public bus station is right down the street from our cottage!
