The home’s terracotta flooring and staircase are both original to the coastal design and shown accurately in the listing photos, but we understand that every layout works differently for every group. It is quite the amazing location, thank you for noting! We're sorry to hear you felt this beach home needed a bit more tlc, and we will have our maintenance team thoroughly check things out. We will also provide your suggestion to the owner on dressers downstairs, although to be fair, these aren't very big rooms and most guests prefer a bigger bed than adding a dresser. Regarding the AC, dang it, unfortunately the blower motor went out during your stay, and as you said, you were generously refunded. It has since been repaired. As for the steps, these are fairly normal for our island location. We're used to them (we definitely get in our workout living here 😀), but we're sorry you found them to be steep. We do appreciate your feedback and allowing us to host your stay.

The home was designed for larger groups to gather comfortably, which is why many guests choose it—especially since it offers a very reasonable per-person rate compared to even a single hotel room on the island. The outdoor shower’s open-roof design is intentional and common on the coast, but we’ve still sent our team to double-check the items you noted, including the freezer drawer and ground-level area. We appreciate you bringing them to our attention. While the layout and style didn’t match your personal preference, we’re happy you enjoyed the setting and décor, and we hope you had a relaxing getaway overall. Wishing you wonderful travels ahead.
