The Bay Retreat - a beautifully renovated, waterfront two storey apartment in Neutral Bay
The Bay Retreat is one of Sydneys prestigious holiday homes, with views of iconic Sydney Harbour from the living room. With furnishings throughout from the Coco Republic, ducted aircon throughout, chefs kitchen, ample working space and parking, The Bay Retreat is everything you need for your Sydney escape, or a great base for corporate stays. The ferry terminal is directly across the road.
We are a company that does a lot of travelling so our best means of contact would be either through the app or please email us and my Team will respond as soon as possible!
Convenience is also key to this property. Directly across the road is the ferry which will take you on the breathtaking route into the Sydney Harbour with ease. Head in for dinner at one of Sydney’s world-famous restaurants or just take a stroll around the city. The choice is yours. If you want to keep it close to home just step outside and enjoy one of the eateries across the road. In the morning stroll across to Thelma and Louise, an iconic Sydney cafe and enjoy brekkie with a serious view.
Neutral Bay is a suburb on the Lower North Shore of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. Neutral Bay is around 1.5 kilometres north of the Sydney Central Business District.
Our home is located across the road from Hayes St Wharf, making getting to all that Sydney has to offer a breeze. Our home also comes with one carspot, so for any travellers wanting to either take their car or hire one, an absolute breeze.
The gorgeous Hayes St Beach is across the road, perfect for easy beach access on Summer days, as well as an array of cafes and restaurants.
Centrally located, situated right next to the harbor and a stone's throw from the Sydney CBD, this unique property is the perfect place to stay when visiting Sydney. With the ferry terminal directly across the road and one of the only apartments with parking on the prestigious Hayes St, this apartment is perfect for all to explore the best Sydney has to offer.
The Bay Retreat with ducted aircon throughout, perfect for those hot Summer days and chilly Winter nights. The home has 2 bedrooms located on the second level, and one on the bottom level, perfect for families or couples that want their own private space.
If one of the many cafes or restaurants across the road is not your thing, or home comes fully equipped with a chefs kitchen, making cooking breakfast, lunch of dinner a breeze!
Our home comes with one carspot onsite (garage), perfect for those who wish to travel by car.
Our home comes with free wifi, Smart TV's in all bedrooms, large 65" brand new smart TV (perfect for streaming your favourite shows after a long day) in the living room, 6 seater dining area, kitchen equipped with all the essentials as well as 3 large bedrooms, configured as:
- Master Bedroom: 1x King Bed
- Secondary Bedroom: 1x Queen Bed
- Third Bedroom: 2x King Singles OR 1x King Bed. Please note you will need to let us know which option you would like when booking.

HOUSE RULES:
*Check-in: After 3:00 pm
*Checkout: 10:00 am
*No smoking
*No parties or events
*No pets allowed
ADDITIONAL RULES:
*As per the Short Term Legislation Act 2020 NSW, all guests are required to obey these rules. For extra guests/day visitors, we must be informed for liability purposes.
*In compliance with applicable legislation, we are required to enter a Short Term Rental Agreement with Guests upon booking. We are also transitioning from collecting a Security Deposit and will now be using a Pre-Authority form to hold as a form of security for your stay.
*This is a no-party property. We do not allow parties/events of any sort. The maximum amount of guests allowed to sleep in this property is SIX people, however, we do allow day visitors of up to THREE people. No more than a maximum of NINE people are allowed in the property at any given time.
*Only the guests staying at the property are permitted to be present. If you wish to have visitors in addition to booked guests, you must advise us in writing prior to your stay and ensure you receive written permission.
*This home is a strictly no-smoking property. If any of our cleaners find any form of cigarette ash, butts or smell cigarettes in the apartment, we could issue a $500 fine.
*This is a domestic residence and we love our neighbours. We do not allow loitering or loud noise outside of the premises or inside of the premises. We ask for minimal noise especially after 9 pm.
*STRA Rules - By booking this home you automatically agree to all the STRA terms and conditions that are applicable to guests. You also agree that if you do break any of the house rules you will be asked to leave and no refund of the unused nightly rates will be returned.
*Check-in/Check-out - We cannot stress enough the importance of checking out on time. Our regular check-in time is after 3 pm and check-out time is before to 10 am. If you wish to have an earlier check-in or later check-out, please reach out to us first. Please note, there may be a charge.
*Changing of Dates Terms & Conditions
- Requests to change booking dates may only be accommodated if check-in is more than 1 month away.
- This is subject to approval and we reserve the right to decline any requests.
- Please note that there may be a surcharge to change the dates.
- Any changes to bookings are subject to approval and we ask all guests to reach out to us first.
THINGS TO KNOW:
* Check-in details will be sent either the night before checking in, or the morning of check-in for security reasons.
* We only provide 1 set of keys for each stay. We do not have extra sets.
* The 3rd bedroom has a king bed that can be converted into 2 single beds. If you'd like this set up into 2 singles, please inform us a week before check-in.
* We have a portacot and highchair in the home, however, we do not provide linen for the cot. We highly suggest to BYO!
* Enjoy a seamless stay with our hassle-free airport pick-up and drop-off service, exclusively for guests booked to stay our homes. Contact us for rates and booking details!
