Just steps from direct beach access across the street, this home offers stunning ocean views through large windows, vaulted ceilings, and a spacious open great room. Relax on wrap-around decks or take advantage of the community’s exceptional amenities.

The newly updated kitchen is beautifully crafted with quartz countertops and is fully equipped with everything you'll need for mealtime. The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable giving you the area needed to relax and unwind after a full day of fun. There's even additional bedding in the Sunroom for your guests and the sofa in the mid level den makes into a bed.

You will have many things to explore and enjoy in the Tuckahoe community as it features ocean-to sound living and provides guests with a sound side pier and gazebo at the sound access. Excellent location! House was clean and air conditioning was nice and cold. Fun board games and lots of beach chairs . Furnishings were dated but that did not affect the joy of the stay. Would stay again! Thanks!

Amazing location, spacious home

We absolutely loved our stay! The spacious home had everything we needed for a comfortable stay including lots of beach chairs and toys. We loved being able to peek at the ocean from the main living area and walk less than 5 minutes to the beach! A dreamy vacation!!

The sun room has a window AC unit, it cools off nicely but it wasn’t turned on when we arrived so when you get there if you’re using that room make sure you turn it on first thing! The beach convenience was so nice to be able to walk right across to get there.

The house was the perfect size for my giant family and accommodated all of us well. It was a bit outdated BUT we all very much enjoyed our stay. The property had games and puzzles that we all enjoyed playing with in our spare time. We would definitely return again in the future!!

Shabby. Couches stained. Carpet dingy and full of sand. Dining table worn and stained. Several broken lamps. Four separate TV controls that did not function. Hodge-podge of kitchen item with similar item stored in diverse locations. Dishwasher did not dispense detergent. Dirty dishes in cupboards. Toaster oven did not work. All deck furniture was broken, could not sit outside. Beach chairs were broken, old, rusted. Beach toys were broken. Bathroom faucets are installed backwards. Tub will not drain causing showers to back-up. External flapper for stove exhaust constantly banging when breeze comes up. Sliding glass/screen doors are rusted and some do not lock.

June 2025 Stay in Duck, NC

Everything was fantastic! The beach was just across a cul-de-sac and a small wooden walkway. Our big kids and their friends enjoyed coming and going to the beach as they pleased. There is a carport and an outdoor shower under the house. They provide numerous beach chairs, an umbrella, and sand toys. They house layout was perfect for our party of 7! The 3 bedrooms on the first floor suited the 4 kids and my mother-in-law. My mother-in-law enjoyed having her own bathroom. There was a common area with a couch, TV, books, and washer and dryer. There is also a sunroom (separate entry) with a single bed and trundle. Upstairs leads to an open floor plan (living room, kitchen, dining room). Another door leads to the master bedroom. All bedrooms and the kitchen have a door onto a deck (upper or lower). It was perfect! I would recommend bringing/buying: 4 hand soaps, more paper towels and TP (they give you some, but we ran out), tissues, tupperware containers, zip lock bags, garbage bags, shower supplies (shampoo, conditioner, body wash), and beach towels. We ordered groceries via Instacart when we arrived, and it worked well. They supply hair dryers, dish soap (dispenser attached to sink), 2 dish towels, a dish sponge, pots, pans, dishes, glasses, utensils, 2 coffee makers (conventional and Keurig), and a toaster oven. If you're staying for a partial week, make sure to call and rent bedding and bath/hand towels/wash cloths. Our only regret was not staying longer!

Dated and in need of a lot of TLC

The property is very well located right at the entrance to the beach. Surrounded by very nice properties that are well kept unlike this property.AS soon as you get into the property there was trash on the front yard and an overflowing garbage can.You open the door and you see delaminating wood doors to the bedroom. Very dated and sagging furniture that is begging to be replaced. Carpets with hair and so stained that you start wondering if that is the carpet's pattern. the bathrooms (with the exception of a new shower in the master) are in need of replacing the bathtub is peeling the calcium on the fixtures is very noticeable and almost non existent water pressure from a very old shower head. Go up to find very stained counter tops which you wonder if they are clean. the stove top has to be deep cleaned to see if they can take off the residues of many years of food spills. There were ants in the kitchen. The sofas in the living area are stained and sagging no support for your back and you just sink in them. Dinning room is also dated and peeling but lets say it serves its purpose. Probably the broken lamp should be removed rather than propped up with a wooden figurine. picnic tables on the decks are also in very bad shape specially the one next to the first floor bedrooms. Frankly they should take the house off the list and invest some money in it.
