Beach House, recientemente renovado, ubicado a 2. 5 millas al norte del corazón de Duck ya 1. 5 millas al sur de The Sanderling Resort. (Bicicleta / sendero para caminar en ambas direcciones) El porche lateral tiene una vista INCREÍBLE con vistas al sonido perfecto para atardeceres nocturnos. También está a unos 4-5 minutos a pie de la playa para disfrutar de los hermosos amaneceres de la mañana. Un lugar maravilloso para relajarse un poco. Mi esposo y yo compramos esta casa en Duck para vacaciones familiares para crear muchos recuerdos, pero queríamos compartir eso con otros. Actualmente vivimos en Currituck pero me encanta ir a Duck los fines de semana.

Great little house for a getaway

Perfect beach house

This house was super clean and in complete working order. Everything worked and looked exactly like it was pictured and described. Easy walk to the beach. Lots of beach equipment provided. Owner was very communicative and helpful. I’d absolutely stay here again.

Great stay!

We spent the Labor Day long weekend here and it worked out perfectly. The walk to the beach is quick and easy. the house is well appointed and plenty of space. The deck has a nice view of the sound that we enjoyed while eating dinner.

Great stay in Duck!

This was the perfect spot for our family! We’ve stayed in Duck many times, but had to split our large group up into smaller houses. This was perfect for my parents, my husband, and our baby! The house was clean, lots of helpful beach gear, kitchenware, and comfortable beds. The bikes and deck/view were awesome! Thanks for your hospitality, Kim and TJ!

Perfect spot for small family

Recently stayed here with our family of 5 (kids aged 14, 11, 8). House was the perfect size and such an easy walk to the beach. (4 minutes door to sand). Appreciated the beach chairs and wagon to bring supplies down to the beach. Not sure if it was unique to the week we were there, but the beach access used for the houses on this street was the least populated stretch of sand. No issues getting a great spot each day. House was clean and comfortable. We had everything we needed. Hosts were very easy to communicate with. I would absolutely stay here again.

Long weekend in Duck

Great long weekend in Duck for a wedding at Sanderling. Location was perfect to get to the wedding. House was exactly as described, short walk to the beach so we got a beach walk in every day. Lots of rain but didn't dampen our fun! We really appreciated Kim reaching out to offer an extra night! Would definitely rent again!

Perfect place

We loved the house. It was very clean! It was a short walk to the beach. We had a 10 month old with us. We used a beach wagon. The outlet to the beach was a ramp. There were no steps which made it so much easier. There was a beautiful view of the bay from the deck. The sunset was beautiful. We will definitely stay there again!

Quaint beach home in Duck with sound view

The "Mack Daddy" was clean, comfortable and had that quaint, beachy vibe. It is on a quiet, private road with an easy walk to the beach. It had everything we needed for making wonderful family memories. Love that all the room are on the same floor. Kim was prompt with answering questions. Check in and out instructions were clear and easy. Love the extra touch of a bottle of wine :)

Just Ducky!

We enjoyed our stay at this beach house! We came to stay in mid October for a long weekend. It is located in a great location in Duck. The house is in a nice and quiet neighborhood. The house is just as described. Newly remodeled and clean. All the space we needed for our family of four. The proprietor was so nice to give us restaurant and activity recommendations. We'll be back on our next visit to Duck!

We really enjoyed this house which was immaculate. The beach is beautiful, andI the porch was a delight! ! I enjoyed watching the deer. One of our guests thought the bunk mattress was a bit uncomfortable. My guess is that it would be fine for young people, but not all adults. But, overall wonderful....

Great cozy house. Close to everything.

Nice comfortable house. We had our son& girlfriend and another couple staying with us for the weekend. Great location. Close to Duck. Just a few minute walk to the beach. Love that beach bikes, beach cart and chairs were available for our use during our stay. We were only there for a weekend wedding at Sanderling so didn’t get to spend much time on the beach or use the bikes but would love to come back again. The complimentary bottle of wine was very thoughtful too. Thanks again.

Great getaway

The house was perfectly located. It was clean and A/C was great. Our days were hot and humid so it was needed along with fans in the rooms. There were bikes, lots of chairs (some in fairly new condition), a beach buggy and coolers. We noticed a lot of sand toys too. We enjoyed the sunsets and easy walk to the beach. The place was clean and laid out well. A few areas for improvement — supply some more glasses (for drinking and cocktails), a propane grill, and invest in adding pavers or cement around the outside shower / storage closet. We’d rent here again! Thank you!

Thank you for your response. I do not disagree with your suggested improvements. The cups seem to have legs as we have added more a couple times and they seem to disappear. I will be sure to check next time we are there. As for the pavers, yes it would be nice to have more or an improved walkway from the shower to house. It is on out to do list! Memorial Day Stay

Excellent property which very useable and comfortable. It was pretty well stocked with pans, dishes, essential spices, plastic wrap etc.! The house was especially nice inside with exception of the ice maker being rusted and not useable and one of the fabric chairs needing a deep clean. Also the sheets had to be rewashed as they had a slight odor to them. Outside the house needed a power-washing. Also almost all of the outdoor furniture on the deck was very rusted as well as the beach chairs under the deck. The outdoor shower was very nice and even smelled great! The beach cart with big beach tires was a definite plus! The location was fabulous and a quick but nice walk to the beach. Good value.

Good afternoon, Karl- Thank you for your feedback. We do really appreciate hearing the good and not so good comments. I would like to respond to a couple of your comments. 1. The ice maker- I do apologize for the inconvenience of the ice maker not working. We had only been notified of the issue from the guest prior to you and were not able to get a new fridge in prior to your stay, as we let you know prior to you arriving. We have since taken care of the issue and now have a brand new fridge/freezer in the house. 2. I am very sorry the sheets seemed to have an odor. We usually receive five stars in regard to our housekeeping so I am shocked this was an issue. However, thank you for bringing to our attention. 3. I 100% agree on the out door furniture. That is definitely something we are working on and again apologize that it caused any discomfort to your vacation. As for the beach chairs, those are just there for a back up, it is not an extra we include when renting our house. As this is stated in the welcome information. 4. As for the pressure washing, this was done not too long ago. Houses at the beach are very hard to keep clean on the outside, however we do the best we can. Thank you for giving me the chance to respond and we do appreciate the feedback. We strive to make every guest as comfortable as possible and cannot revise things we do not know about. Just the right size and location!

We rented this cute property for the weekend to stay in before we checked into our weekly rental in Corolla. Much better than a hotel room!! Location to beach access easy 5 min walk and to get to the main drag in Duck was great, although no uber or taxi is available to take you. The 3 we called wont drive in on weekends because of traffic in Duck. So plan ahead and leave early for dinners its an 1.5 wait anywhere you go and we just shopped while we waited!! Host suggested NC Coastal for dinner and it was so worth the wait. We enjoyed the deck in the morning for coffee and you get a great view of the sun and sound. The beds are comfy. Really liked that the master bedroom had a connected bathroom for my in laws. The house was clean and the host was very responsive to all my inquiries. Only problem we had was ants on the table on the deck from the previous renters ,must have spilled something and we cleaned that up with some soap and water. Overall great stay and would come back.
