Watch the ships come and go on the River, take a long walk on the beach or just sit on the porch and relax. These are just a few of the many things you can do from this Harbour Beachfront home. This reverse floor plan offers a wonderful upper deck and spacious living throughout. An additional private sitting area helps to accommodate a wide variety of family activities. The master bedroom and children's rooms are located downstairs along with the third bedroom. The second master bedroom is located upstairs next to a large living and kitchen area. Sleeps 10 (max.). 4 bedrooms (1K-1BB, 1 Twin with TR-1Q-1Q). 3 full baths. 1 half bath. High speed internet. (1) 4 passenger cart. Direct beach access. Golf privilege not included. Friday/Friday. 3:30 p.m. arrival/9:30 a.m. departure.

The house is optimally located on Bald Head Island - very close to the ferry and marina and with a fantastic view of the Cape Fear River and marina entrance with access to Beach Access 1 & 2. It has plenty of space - comfortable bedrooms and living space. The kitchen has the basic cooking utensils but no additional spices etc. The porch view and location are reason enough to stay here!

Amazing views!

Spotless and very well appointed home. Fabulous views overlooking the water. Always something new to look at each hour passing by, whether it be a personal watercraft or cargo ship. Great fishing spot. Close to everything but still private, tucked behind other homes. Will stay here again!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We highly recommend this vacation rental. Location is great and the house had everything that we needed and more. We enjoyed our time sitting on the porches watching the boats on the river, riding bicycles and exploring the island in the golf cart that was provided. Were also able to walk to several restaurants from the house. House was very, very clean and Intracoastal Realty was great to work with. We’ll definitely rent this house again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had an awesome time. We boated in and docked practically in front of the house. This made it convenient for daily fishing and loading and unloading boat.The house is well layout out and comfortable, we would definitely stay again. I think we enjoyed the view from this house better than an ocean view. Got to see a lot of water activity which was relaxing on the great deck.

wonderful trip, kinda pricey, could be better

Reviewer Comments: good experience overall. things were taken care of. the cancellation policy is a little bit unrealistic, especially for the price you pay to go stay. they could definitely do better there. also, the house is advertised as having club memberships. however, the bhi club was 'full' and did not take our membership request during the week we were there. its a bit misleading on the intracoastal page, and they don't mention the fact that the club could refuse your request. when i emailed ICR about it, the response i got was 'there's nothing we can do about it.'bhi club now wants 2 day reservations to go to the pool and with a 2 hour time limit, which is a bit absurd when one is on vacation. overall, bhi is a wonderful place and the vacation was awesome.

Beautiful Home and Location

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a beautiful house in an awesome location- close to all of the restaurants and a short golf cart ride to the beach. The property was well maintained and the view from the spacious balcony was absolutely gorgeous. The only complaint we had, which was also mentioned in previous reviews, was the slow speed of the golf cart. It was so slow that we found ourselves having to pull over to let others pass us whenever we used it.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Everything was lovely about Twin Peaks except the golf cart. It was extremely slow. It didn't have covers for protection from the rain. It stormed a few nights while we were there and we had dinner reservations at Shoals and had to cancel because the golf cart was not equipped to get us there. That was very frustrating. We would love to stay here again but if the golf cart is not updated we will not be staying again.

Situated almost adjacent to the harbor and over-looking the river "gave interest" that we wouldn't experience on the ocean. Good fishing spot too! This was our second year there.
