FANTASTIC REMODEL HAPPENING NOW. NEW KITCHEN AND AN ADDITIONAL BED AND FULL BATH BEING ADDED. 

Originally built in 1883 this one-of-a-kind historic property has been lovingly restored to retain the charm of the past but offers the convenience of today!  Located just 1/2 block off Elk Avenue with all that town has to offer in the way of dining and shopping the location couldn't be better. This historical home welcomes your family with a fenced in yard and fabulous private patio with outdoor dining and gas grill. The yard is beautifully landscaped with mature Aspen and pine trees and perennial wildlflower beds.  There's even a historical out-building that can house your bikes and gear.

Enter through the living room or kick your shoes off in the mudroom on the side.  Whichever way you choose your vacation is off and running.  With 3 bedrooms and 3 baths your family has plenty of room to spread out and relax. The living area has vaulted ceilings, a gas fireplace, and oversized smart TV to stay connected to the outside world.  Speaking of connectivity, this home also has high speed internet should you need to work from home or the kids need to take a class online. 

The dining table has room for everyone and the fullyequipped kitchen with gas stove is ready to help you tackle any recipe.  There are two master suites, one is downstairs on the main level and has a queen bed with en-suite bath and the other is upstairs with a king bed and large en-suite bath.  The king suite bath has a steam shower along with separate vanity areas and separate toilets, no waiting! Want to lay in bed and watch a movie, this bedroom has a flat screen mounted above the cabinetry for those mornings where you just want to stay in bed. Off the living area you will find a loft bedroom with 2 twin beds, skylights and vaulted ceilings which has it's own bath with shower just below. There is in floor heat on the tile floors to keep you warm in the winter and great windows throughout the home to take in the Colorado summers. 

This home sits on a double lot and offers the advantage of off street parking for 2 vehicles in a shaded spot. There is easy access to the house or back yard from the parking area.  Just a few blocks to the free shuttle stop, sitting in the middle of the action, and views of Mt. CB out the front door! 305 Third Street is your family's home base for your CB adventure!

Absolutely loved our time in Crested Butte! The house was fantastic; clean, spacious, great backyard/patio area and walkable to everything in town. We will for sure be back!

The house was great. Plenty of space for 5 of us. The restaurant next door was a little loud into the night but not too bad. House was very well equipped and furnished with very good quality furniture. Kitchen had everything we needed,

Perfect Location in CB

We visit CB at least twice a year and have stayed in a variety of locations. This home is conveniently located right off Elk but still very quiet. The house has a variety of special touches including local artwork, heated floors, comfortable beds, a well stocked kitchen and an amazing master suite with steam shower. So thankful the owners are willing to share this perfect place with other families. We can't wait to return.

Best location in downtown Crested Butte!

This is a charming original cabin just half a block off Elk in the center of town. We could easily walk to Camp4Coffee, Secret Stash pizza, and the 3 best fine dining restaurants in Crested Butte. None of those listed are more than a block and a half! Also, the ice cream shop is two doors down and ‘The Dogwood’ is next door with craft cocktails and lite bites!The cabin retains it’s charm but the space goes on and on. There are two main bedrooms, one on the first floor and one upstairs. There is also a loft with twin beds. It has a nice kitchen, a large dining table, a comfortable living room and 3 full baths with showers, two on the 1st floor and one on the 2nd. To top it off there is a nice patio out back with lovely gardens and also a private parking space!Highly recommend this for a stay right in the center of town—plus it’s quiet!!

Perfect for us

We knew the house was the perfect location, but we hoped it was the right layout and personality for our party of two couples. It was all that and more. There are so many rooms to congregate or to separate and each one is comfortable. And the entire place is so clean! It was outfitted with everything we needed. Love this place and we hope to be back here on our next trip to Crested Butte.

Ideal home, location, and vacation all around!

This was the perfect house for our trip this winter. The house just keeps going and has great amenities—plenty of room for a large group (7 people in our case) with all the comforts of home and then some (like a steam room!). This was my first trip to Crested Butte and I completely fell in love with the town as well, which wasn't surprising considering everything was within easy walking distance. It was also a breeze to get to the mountain for skiing thanks to the nearby shuttle. I was only there for a short time, but in this great house, in this great town, I felt at home in no time and can't wait to go back!

Stay in the heart of town!

We loved this house. Beds were comfortable, house was clean, well stocked with everything we needed. The location was so convenient…just a short walk to shops and restaurants. There was some live music one night at a nearby bar that was quite loud until close to midnight. And with the location, there’s definitely some noise you might hear. Didn’t really bother us, but worth noting.

Fall visit

Clean and comfortable house. Well equipped and excellent wifi. TV remotes weren’t very user friendly and could be improved with some better how to instructions. Also would like to see an in house recycling option available. Overall a great stay and would come back.

Perfect location, well equipped, will return!

We loved this home as a base for our ski trip and plan to return with our family again. Property management was responsive and helpful. The house was clean, attractive, and had what we needed to be comfortable. There wasn't anything for babies/toddlers but we planned accordingly and brought our own high chair and pack n play. I loved exploring the town with my youngest while the rest of the family went skiing. Crested Butte is such a gem!

A perfect vacation getaway!

My friends and I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this property! It is centrally located and has so many great amenities. Restaurants and bars are right around the corner, and the shuttle up to the mountain is only a couple blocks away. We were able to cook multiple meals in the well stocked kitchen. The whole house was very clean and there was plenty of room for everyone, in fact it felt even bigger than the photos show. The owner Dee Dee was super responsive to our emailed questions and very accommodating. We can't say enough good things about this property and will definitely be back again!

Adorable, clean, perfect location, much bigger than pictures imply

We had a wonderful time visiting with our two elementary-aged children. The house was immaculate and adorably decorated. It was much larger than the pictures implied, allowing everyone to have their own space. We were pleasantly surprised by the private and lush backyard. The location could not be more perfect - you are in the center of town, crawling distances from restaurants and shops. It is also a few blocks from some great trails - we especially enjoyed the wildflowers. We would absolutely return!

The best!

We have rented houses over the winter holidays in CB for almost 10 years now. This is my favorite house. It has the perfect ski cabin vibe, is very roomy and comfortable and the location can't be beat. We cooked a lot in the cute and well stocked kitchen and spent many evenings in front of the fire in the front room. The Dogwood is right next door and Elk Avenue is 1/2 block away. Even in the cold, it was fun and easy to be able to walk everywhere. I definitely recommend this property and look forward to returning next year!

Perfect place for the perfect getaway!

Had the pleasure of staying here during my first trip to Crested Butte. In short - it is the perfect spot, with all necessary amenities in fantastic condition. Really made my first trip to Crested Butte comfortable, warm and special. Will come back to stay here 100%. Perfect location, great space, super warm and convenient. The space has plenty of room for friends & family, and is a cozy & comfortable environment to hang out in, or come back to after a day skiing or hiking. Can't beat the location, in close proximity to all major restaurants and shops. But also very quiet and peaceful. Loved it.

Great location, nicely upgraded.

Great location, one block off Elk. Parking for 2 cars on side of house was great. Beautifully decorated. Only thing missing were boxes of Kleenex. One bedroom downstairs with bathroom, other 2 were lofts. One loft had bathroom attached. The other loft the bathroom was downstairs. Worked fine for us, but good to know.

Perfect in town Crested Butte home

Best property in Crested Butte. Great location; highly functional, comfortable and beautiful. The layout of the bedrooms provides ample privacy for all, while the public spaces in the home are spacious and cozy at the same time. The back deck is perfect for unwinding with a glass of wine at the end of a day in the mountains. I particularly liked the storage out back where I could keep my bike safe and secure without having it take up space in the house. Dee Dee was incredibly attentive and responsive, though not intrusive. Best rental experience I’ve had in roughly 25 years of visiting CB. In short, amazing property and great experience.

Great house, perfect location

This house works well for many combinations of vacationeers. We had three adult couples on this trip and together and separately we enjoyed the front room, back patio and kitchen dining table. The two master bedrooms are ideal. The third bedroom is a loft with a separate full bathroom and not as ideal but it worked for us. And if you want to be in town in a home with three full bathrooms, you won't find better. We had instant response to two separate questions - Dee Dee and Ron are just great. And the place is so clean. We hope to be back to CB next year, and if we are, we'll definitely choose to stay here.

Fabulous!!!

This was our first trip to Crested Butte. We stayed one week in this beautiful home and our stay was fantastic! The listing description is very accurate. The house was VERY clean on arrival and the manager was very helpful. The house is in great condition with all the comforts of home. It feels very spacious, is perfectly furnished, has beautiful vaulted ceilings, and a great kitchen with all the amenities. The backyard is so pretty and very well kept, showing off the CO wildflowers and views of the mountain. Very peaceful and serene. It is located right in the heart of the historic town of CB but still very private and away from the crowds. Great location for a stroll to restaurants, shopping, hiking and biking trails. Can't wait to come back during the ski season!!!

Great Place to stay in Crested Butte

Our group, two couples, found this property to very well appointed. The kitchen had everything we needed and there were lots of extra blankets and cozy throws. I loved the reading chairs with light and footstool. The location is very close to downtown which was convenient, it was sometimes a little loud due to the close proximity. Since it was summer and we sometimes had the windows open, this was a minor issue. Also, my only real complaint was that it was pretty warm in the primary bedroom which is located upstairs. There is a window air conditioning unit but it didn’t help much. Our trip was during an unusually hot summer so maybe this isn’t normally an issue. We love visiting Crested Butte for the wonderful wild flower hikes and would stay at this property again.

Amazing Location. Wonderful layout. Awesome owner

We've stayed in a few places in CB. that being said, it's hard to beat this location. Don't overlook the dedicated parking spot with big signs telling others to stay away from your spot it is a HUGE plus! Parkign in CB is at a premium. The owner is very quick to respond to any issues and then follows up to be sure all was resolved. Got to meet the property manager as well and he is very receptive. The layout is awesome. we had 2 adults and 2 sets of teen girls. the house is large enough that everyone had their own space and they could be as loud as they wanted and we were never bothered. the yard is great and we sat outside many mornings and afternoons and enjoyed the space. don't hesitate to rent this place. we will likely rent it again

Great in town stay

The property was very clean and extremely well stocked in terms of linens, kitchen, table lamps, cozy throws. We were two couples and the layout (long linear) was good for different grouping areas. The location is half a block off of the Main Street that was great for walking, but a bit noisy (house is behind a restaurant patio) although quiet later as the town closes up around 9:00. This could be an issue in the summer months when the windows are open but was fine in the autumn. Also the upstairs master does not have a door at the top of the stairs. The staircase takes a turn so there is visual privacy, but sound would definitely travel from the kitchen and dining room below. Difficult with noisy groups and with children. There are two steps up to the en-suite bath in the first floor master. But all in all a terrific space to relax and drop in and out of downtown CB.
