Peaceful and quiet cabin with keypad entry for convenient self check in.

GET AWAY FROM IT ALL!
This Cabin was built in 2017. It is an open floor plan with Flat screen TV, a queen bed, sofa that has a fold out twin bed and a lounge chair that has a fold out single bed. There are also 2 cots if needed for additional guests!

If you are looking for a secluded and quiet spot to stay while trout fishing, floating the river, enjoying one of the local wineries, getting away to enjoy nature/peace and quiet or just like drinking coffee in your underwear all day on the porch this is the spot for you!

We strive to maintain a very clean and comfortable stay on a well maintained piece of property.

Awesome view of food plot with a abundance of wildlife.

It has a fully equipped kitchen With everything you will need to cook Your meals before a day of fishing and the bathroom with it’s big walk in shower with dual shower heads is great after a cold day of hunting!

The cabin is located in the scenic Ozark mountains and is 300 yards from the parking lot at the start of the Woodson K. Woods conservation area with 5,658 acres of public hunting land.
Once your at the parking lot a hike down what locals refer to as "cardiac hill" provides fishing access to the heart of the renowned Meramec River Red Ribbon Trout Fishing area, this is a gated conservation road leading to the Meramec river and is about 1/2 mile long hill, going down is a breeze coming up takes some cardio! Hence the name “Cardiac Hill”.
There are several river access you can drive to within minutes to swim or fish, just ask and we will be happy to help you find the perfect one to hang out on for the day!

THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW:
-We do not have river frontage and you can not see the river from the cabin.
-From the cabin to the river is a just over 1/2 mile walk using the public cardiac hill access.
- To get to this cabin you will have to drive down 3 miles of gravel road.

-The towns of St. James and Cuba are both about a 15 minute drive from the cabin, where you can find several restaurants and grocery stores.

The cabin was a great little place, and I love how secluded it was. We wanted a peaceful weekend out in nature and that's exactly what we got! We especially loved the large 2 person shower with 2 separate shower heads. Overall it was really great and we hope to come again!

Float trip stay

Looks like a nice place for couple's weekend stay or hunting season cabin. Has most everything you need in place. Most short routes to local attractions are gravel roads.

Great place to get away from everything! We have stayed other places that say they are private, but are actually right next to other properties. This place is exactly as described, with great amenities. Would stay again for sure.

Anniversary getaway

This is a cute, well stocked cabin. It was very comfortable. There is a bbq out back, table & chairs. There's also 2 hammock chairs suspended from the back. There's a firepit on the side with a seating area - good for a campfire. You will definitely need to follow the directions the host provides to find this cabin as Google wasn't spot on. The cabin is really isolated & it's very quiet. There's plenty of sites to see in & around Cuba and lots of great places to shop antiques. We really enjoyed our stay.

Little cabin in the woods

This is a sweet little cabin in the woods. It is very clean and well stocked for a little getaway. There were several deer right outside the window. The shower is amazing. I will definitely be back in the summer to enjoy the area. If privacy is what you want, this is they place for you.

The cabin was simple, but clean and cozy. It's far away from anyone, in the woods, with a trail down to the river. Nice place to get away.

Very Private Getaway in the Woods

This is an open floor plan cabin set away in the woods. I was a little concerned it would be too small for three adult men but it proved more than adequate and not too crowded. There is a queen bed, a full couch with a fold out bed and a smaller single couch that folds to a single bed. Nice bathroom with a large walk in shower. The real highlight was the privacy and quiet solitude. It's a little drive to civilization but that's the beauty of staying there. Really great sitting area in back and a fire pit for campfires. Fishing and hiking are nearby at the Meramec Spring Park and the Meramec river - about a 20 minute drive from the cabin. You can hike to the river from the cabin if you're up for a good climb back up. Overall, it's a very nice getaway and my friends and I hope to return.

The property was fabulous! Definitely exactly what we were looking for as a family "get away". It was clean, stocked, prepared for us, and so many amenities that made us never want to leave. Close to many places to keep your family entertained as well! Fantastic cabin and property!!

Super cute cabin tucked away from the world

We were simply looking for a quiet alternative to a hotel, and this cabin was PERFECT!!! It is so inviting, clean, and has everything we could want. The property owner is so helpful, and there is a great place to fish on the property... our only regret is NOT having more time to spend there

Secluded Oasis

Cabin at Besmer is a little slice of heaven off the beaten path. The peaceful drive on backroads to the location melt away day to day noise, and you are greeted by easy to read signage to the Cabin. The entry & outdoor space is very well maintained with so many places for outdoor toys & fun. Entry code access, internet, clean, well equipped kitchen w/ fridge & all the necessities, really comfortable bed, air conditioning, bathroom essentials all included. Peaceful sleep (no noise). Don't second guess, just book the place.
