Ghislain is a trades professor at Cambrian College, and Leanne is a Realtor and Team Lead for The Lewis Team – Royal LePage Manitoulin. We live just down the road from the cottage and are thrilled to be starting this Airbnb adventure together!

We love the location of Ber-Wood Cottage because it offers the perfect blend of natural beauty, tranquility, and sentimental value. Living just a short distance away on the south shore of Manitoulin Island, we have always cherished the stunning views of the sun rising and setting over Lake Huron, the peacefulness of the surrounding forest, and the abundance of wildlife that makes this area so special. This cottage holds even deeper meaning for us, as it is named in honor of Leanne's parents, Elwood and Bernice Lewis, who recently passed away. They had a long history in Dean’s Bay, having owned property there for many years, making this location a heartfelt tribute to their legacy and the many memories created in this beautiful place.
