Aspectos positivos: Limpieza, llegada y ubicación
The house was great, and we love the area. The indoor areas have wonderful features and great style, and hearing the water is calming. Overall the property was clean and well-kept. We had some problems with accessing the house with the info that we got, and a call to the number on the listing was answered right away and the problem was worked out. The only downside was that there is no actual river access (even though it is included in the listing) or a full view of the river, and little outdoor space to enjoy (about 10 feet of patchy grass and gravel between the back patio and the tree line). Based on the photos on the listing, including a picture at the riverside and a picture of stone steps going into the trees in the direction of the river, I was under the impression that there was river access from the home. Unfortunately the stone steps lead about 15 feet into the trees and any further movement is blocked by rocks, trees, bushes, briars, and a ravine which is not crossable to access the river, with no paths or trails (I investigated this closely, as spending time at the river was one of the main reasons we rented this property). There are partial views of the river from the 2nd floor of the house, but no full views, and no views from the first floor. I would recommend that the listing is amended to make it clear that there is no direct river access, and that the river views are partial views from the 2nd floor only.
