Parkside Retreat, constructed in 2011 is located on a private drive-way and offers private seclusion for your Door County vacation. When you walk into the home you will walk through the entryway into a spacious great room, that is both modern and cozy. Walk through the great room into the open-concept kitchen/dining area, where you will find modern appliances, cookware and plenty of room to cook and enjoy meals with your family or friends.
The first floor also features two full bathrooms and two bedrooms. The master suite is furnished with a King-sized bed and features a private bath and walk-in shower. The other first floor bedroom also includes a King-sized bed. The second full bathroom on the first floor features a ceramic tile walk in shower with a double sink base.
Upstairs you will find two nicely furnished and decorated bedrooms as well as a full bathroom. One of the upstairs bedrooms is furnished with a Queen-sized bed and the other bedroom features a Queen-sized bed plus a twin bed. The upper bath has a tub/shower.
Off of the kitchen there is a walk-out patio with a fire pit where you can enjoy evenings by the fireside with your friends and family. The backyard has plenty of room for yard games, kids to run around, and a small wooded area to explore. If you follow the trail in our backyard it leads to Highway 42, and across the highway is an entrance to Peninsula State Park where you can access biking and hiking trails!
The house is about 300 yards to the YMCA. 0.8 miles to the south entrance of Peninsula State Park. 1.3 miles to the downtown Fish Creek corner. The Top of The Hill Shops are a 0.5 miles.

We purchased our first vacation rental in Sister Bay in 2016 and have expanded our portfolio to a total of 4 rental cottages over the years. In the fall of 2021 we purchased the neighboring property to Parkside Retreat to use personally. We fell in love with this quiet cul-de-sac and its amazing proximity and access to the trails in Peninsula State Park. We are excited to be able to continue sharing this wonderful slice of Door County with visitors from all over.
