relax and enjoy "OUR HIDE hikingway"a 3 level duplex style cabin located in Big Bear Lodge and Resort As Our guest, you’ll enjoy all the amenities of the resort including free WiFi & Netflix, indoor and outdoor pools, game room, exercise room, and conference room. Our cabin unit is private, yet conveniently located near Wears Valley and minutes away from Pigeon Forge attractions, restaurants, shopping, and Dollywood theme parks. Drive 10 minutes further to experience Gatlinburg and the beauty of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
Baxter the Bear resides in the upper loft, much to the delight of our guests. While you're staying with us, please help us complete the story of Baxter's journey to 'Our Hiking Hideaway'.
Features of the main level of our cabin include:
• Living room features stone gas fireplace, flat screen TV with BlueRay DVD player and FREE Netflix
• Dining area
• Fully equipped kitchen with granite countertops

• Screened porch with sitting area and four person hot tub
On the upstairs level, you’ll find:
• A loft with daybed
• Master bedroom with king bed, dresser, and TV
• Full bath with shower and tub
• Outdoor balcony to enjoy the view of the Smokies
The downstairs suite on the lower level/basement is perfect for kids or other couples. For the comfort of our guests staying in the suite, we offer:
• Kitchenette with sink, coffee-maker, microwave, and mini-refrigerator
• Small dining table with 2 chairs
• Stone gas fireplace
• Flat screen Smart TV with FREE Netflix
• Queen sofa sleeper
• Bedroom with queen bed and dressers
• Full bathroom with shower and garden size tub
The downstairs suite also opens to a large deck with gas grill and outdoor sitting area, perfect for enjoying a outdoor dinner!
Like to hike? We love to hike in the Smokies. The guidebooks located in the armoire on the main level are provided for our guests wishing to experience the magnificence of the Smokies through hiking. The guides describe location, distance, level of difficulty, and highlights of all 900 miles of trails within the National Park boundary

We absolutely loved the accommodation and had a wonderful time! The location was perfect and easy to find, and we appreciated the ample parking for our three vehicles.We especially appreciated how well-stocked the kitchen was and that the bathrooms were nicely supplied with towels.

We loved staying at this cabin! My only “complaint” would be I had to reach out to the host for check in information when we were almost to the cabin and it was very direct and to the point. We would stay again!

Great family getaway

The cabin is clean, well maintained, and true to the photos. It has everything you need including beach towels, blankets, extra pillows, plastic dishes for kids, and extras of paper products (i.e. toilet paper). The mattresses were comfortable and there were plenty of pillows. The location has quick access to all the attractions in Pigeon Forge and multiple grocery stores, while giving nice views and separation from the road noise. I definitely recommend.

The location was great. Just a couple minutes from the main strip, close to the depot to catch the trolly, and close to the Island and shopping. Everything at the cabin was perfect for us and just how it was represented. The space for my husband, myself, our teenage daughter and her friend could not have been better. We particularly liked being able to send the teens downstairs to their own “apartment” for the week. The owner promptly answered my calls prior to coming and was happy to answer my questions. Once we arrived we were pleased immediately. We had one question about the living room remotes for the tv so we called the owner and within minutes there was help knocking on the door to give us a remote tutorial. It ended up being user error and I was the user. . At the end of our stay check-out was so simple. We would gladly recommend this property to others and will likely stay again in the future.
