Family Lake Weekend

This property is very tastefully decorated, perfectly located, well stocked, clean, and in a family friendly complex. Accessible amenities via a key card that also gives access to the massive lake beach you can drive down to for the day. The management company was very responsive to my questions, and checking in and out via the keypad was a breeze. I would suggest bringing a fan for the 3rd floor bedroom. It was very stuffy up there, and didn’t get below 80 degrees. It’s an older home, and isn’t well insulated. But, with a fan we borrowed from family that lives in the complex, it was fine.Definitely would stay again.

I would make sure they have the HVAC system working as it was over 85 degrees in the upper room and living room. I booked this place based on the three bedrooms and bathrooms. I should have gone off the other review and kept looking. I brought the issue up with the rental company and was given a run around the entire time of our stay. My daughter slept on the living room floor as the couch was covered in animal hair. The freezer does not freeze. There were dirty towels/blankets in one cabinet that had been there who knows how long. I didn’t even get to tell them these things as I was focused on the heat. The neighborhood and access to the lake was great, but coming in from the Texas sun to hot and stuffy wasn’t the best time so we left early. I will never book another rental knowing Hill Country Premier is over it. I have traveled and booked many places and this was by far the worst experience as we haven’t had issues like this go unanswered or without resolve. To keep a tenant thinking they are working on the problem vs being up front that the problem is not fixable is unacceptable on many different levels. After being home already, I received a text stating a complete demolition would have to be done to fix the heat issue. Completely wild! They did offer 20% back but given the situation, I would expect a full refund or 50% at least.
