Welcome to Sundowner Motel – Seaside Village Suites in the heart of Yamba. Recently opened and lovingly restored to its original mid-century era, this boutique motel brings a fresh new escape to Australia’s iconic NSW coastline.

Suite No. 3 – The Galah Suite – is an oversied one bedroom apartment in the heart of Yamba village, just a short stroll from Main Beach and the iconic ocean pool. Flexible and inviting, it’s perfect for couples or even a solo retreat.

Inside, you’ll find layers of colour and vintage character — French linen-draped beds, a kitchenette with coffee machine, air fryer, and all the essentials for easy nights in. While there’s no stove or oven, guests are welcome to use the BBQ provided. The open-plan living space opens out to the native garden and lawn, perfect for soaking up the sea air with outdoor seating right at your doorstep.

Need to Know
The Galah Suite is located downstairs, directly beneath the Kookaburra Suite. While soundproofing measures are in place, it’s still apartment-style living, so a little sound may carry. Quiet hours are 9 PM – 8 AM. Sundowner sits in the vibrant heart of Yamba village — expect an easy, seaside buzz rather than a remote, whisper-quiet escape.
