I will start by saying I have never left a negative review like this. Host was nice and allowed us to check in early at no cost; however,upon arrival the home smelled like sour milk coming from the garbage disposal which I cleaned myself. We didn’t use the dishwasher since it was likely linked to the disposal, so we hand washed all dishes. The house was not in the best neighborhood, but it was close to amenities. The trash had not been removed from outside the home and was overflowing. This was definitely not a five-star rental. I have travelled the country and stayed in many homes. I’m usually pretty easy to deal with but If I notice an overwhelming smell upon arrival where I have to clean it myself, that’s an automatic NO for a return. I alerted the owner so he would know for next time and he assured me he would take care of the issue for the next travelers.

Our second time staying in this home. Nice, big fenced in back yard. The house was very clean and well maintained. Plenty of space to lounge around and the kitchen was stocked with all of the basic necessities.

Great location and nice yard

My husband and I enjoyed this dog friendly house. Accommodations were clean and comfortable. Fenced yard was great for the dogs to run around in.

Great Little House, Great Yard

The home has been well maintained and it was clean. I was very happy with the large, fenced-in back yard area and the nice, thick mattresses, and it had everything that we needed for our visit. This was a very pleasant stay and I hope to stay again.

Perfect Place for Our Visit!

House is exactly as described in the listing. It had everything we needed and it was a very comfortable cozy stay - even during a snow storm!! My spouse and I brought our 2 medium size dogs to the area for nearly two weeks to watch our daughter’s college lacrosse games. There was plenty of space and a huge fenced in yard for the dogs to play. I will definitely stay here again.

Wedding guests with pets

Perfect place for 2 adult travelers with 2 small dogs. The house was very clean, well equipped, and close to shopping centers. The fenced in back yard was perfect for our dogs. The firepit out back is a bonus feature too.

Perfect newlywed suite

My husband and I stayed here through the days leading up to our wedding. It was the perfect little getaway 10 min from our venue. Felt totally safe having our pups enjoy the large backyard— our one regret was how little time we spent out there. The yard is amazing! Very clean, very spacious, and the host was prompt in responding to any questions. Highly recommend.

Stay in Fuquay

We came to town for the weekend, brought our senior dog along with us and this property was just perfect for our stay! Nice, quiet neighborhood but still close to restaurants and shopping! The house was lovely, clean, and very well stocked with everything we needed during our stay! We did not need to communicate with the host during our stay but he was very communicative beforehand with check in information! Will absolutely rent this home again!

Another great stay

This is our third time staying at this property. The home is very comfortable and nicely decorated. The beds are extremely comfortable. The kitchen is fully stocked. We travel with our dog. And the fully enclosed fenced yard is perfect. Our host, Jason is so easy to deal with.

Great local option for families with pets!

Enjoyed the home, yard was large and enclosed for our dog which made the stay easy! Beds are super comfy and good amount of living space with comfortable furniture.

Comforts of home

House was clean & comfortable. Beds very comfortable & air conditioning works great, owner very responsive to any needs. Home in an older mixed community but safe area & convenient to all areas & grocery close by. LaFarm Bakery excellent in area.

Great Family Friendly Accommodations

Plenty of space for the kids to wiggle. Great backyard for roasting marshmallows on the firepit or just relaxing on a comfy chair and listening to the birds chirp while sipping on a cocktail. Very close to dining options in downtown Fuquay-Varina or nearby Holly Springs and just a few minutes further to ask that Cary has to offer.

Responsive host

Great stay once again as we went to NC to see our nephews graduation. Upon arrival the code to the door did not work; I messaged the host and within 1 minute he had sent an update to the keypad and we were able to get in. Very responsive host and comfortable stay!

My wife is Sheena McDowell and we have 3 beautiful children. Mason 10 yr old, Maddox 8 yrs old and Malina 4 yrs old.

I'm originally from Everglades City Florida but I've lived and worked in several different places. To name a few, I've lived in Naples FL, Tampa FL, Cleveland TN, Boston MA, West Palm Beach FL and we recently moved from Ft. Lauderdale FL to Holly Springs NC in order for my children to experience the great school systems that Wake county has to offer.
